Totally agreed with you coach. Although I'm on fitness pack side, FitXR really has the benefit of having classes with real fitness coaches. I hope maybe there could be more games like FitXR with no subscription.
I got the annual subscription for FitXR for $89 and I think that was a decent deal. I do it in small chunks of time, normally, so I may take 10-15 mins and do a brief workout then go on with my day, but I do that 3 or 4 times and feel as though it was decent. I agree with you about resistance bands or dumbells. I am thinking next month of adding some wrist and ankle weights just to get some more intensity but honestly, at some point I may see about making my own AR headset so I can see if there is a way I can get workouts from AllBlanc displayed that way. VR has limitations, in that I can't do burpees or pushups as part of the workout, but recently I saw at least one workout where they added squat jumps and that was interesting and more of a workout than I expected.
Thanks for sharing! If you're getting 12-16 quick workouts in for less than 10 bucks a month, I think you've got yourself a good deal! It's better than netflix anyway :) Hopefully, with the quest 3 release, we will start to see proper AR support from FitXR. This coupled with hand tracking improvements could be what we need to see resistance training in vr. That quite cool about jump squats in vr. I haven't seen that in any of the workouts I've tried. Did you find yourself getting dizzy at all?
How about I purchased fit XR before it became a subscription game. I lost the 30 dollars I spent to purchase the game for life. I would never subscribe to fit xr. They owe me thirty bucks.
