TH-cam recommended your video so I checked it out. I was seven or eight when I played that Nintendo Gremlins game. I still think about it. I was never good at it though, but I still remember how cool it was. Another game I have fond memories of but was terrible at Blaster Master. I never knew those two were by the same people. Makes sense. I love your Monster Party icon.
Awesome video. Glad i stuck to the early Gremlins game only so far haha, but it’s always fun to get a more in-depth look at other video games I wouldn’t normally!
I had no idea that there were so many Gremlins games! I’m right there with you on the NES version. That 8-bit soundtrack still gets stuck in my head to this day 🤘🏻
Great, comprehensive coverage of the various Gremlins games. I like that you included the various computer ones as well. Although it's not technically a game, there's a Gremlins 2 Print Kit by Hi-Tech Expressions for various computers. You can make posters, cards, and banners using art from the movie. I always enjoyed using those various print shop programs to waste time in elementary school.
These compilation videos are my favorite videos you upload, I really love seeing weird niche stuff I would never look at as a kid. Great channel, hope you continue to grow!
I loved your video opening scene so much! Great filming and aesthetic on that! I still haven't played a single Gremlins game and I should probably change that soon. I think I'll try the NES game before any of the others. It just looks a lot more polished than the rest!
I remember seeing Gremlins 2 being demonstrated on one of those multicart NES kiosks in a department store back in the day and thinking it looked pretty decent.
Great video! I had no idea how many Gremlins games were around before you streamed them. Even though the wii game is just shovelware, I had a lot of fun watching that one and froggy Gizmo is the greatest thing ever lol. I can't wait to watch these on Friday! :D (also, great thumbnail!!)
Oh wow, I'd heard of almost all of the games here, but I never knew about the DOS version. How they could make a Gremlins game without any of the iconic music or any music in general is just a shame!
Awesome video, Bro!! This video is fun and has great pacing. Also it's cool to see NES Gremlins 2 get some love. That game is one of the best NES games, but I never hear anybody talk about it or mention it in TH-cam videos. Anyway, great job on the video. I'm definitely going to check out some of your other videos.🤩👍👍👍
I agree, a lot of NES movie games were bad. But there are some great ones also. Like (Willow) (Little Nemo) (The Lone Ranger) and (The Little Mermaid). Plus a ton of great TV cartoon games like (DuckTales) (Bucky O'Hare) (TMNT) and. (Chip & Dale). But there were some stinkers like The Bart Simpson games!!
I'm new to your channel. Fantastic video! I had no idea there were Atari games and a DOS game. I loved the NES game as a kid, and still play it every year or so.
I've only played NES Gremlins 2 (not defeated it!) and the Atari 2600 version. The 2600 version is actually pretty fun if you get into a high score contest with other people and you start figuring out a few strats getting a bit deeper in the game, especially the 2nd screen with the gremlins marching down. Cool video that covered a bunch of games I didn't know existed!
Gremlins (5200) - Either the 5200 version is easier or you're really good. I used to play the C64 version of this and without fail, every one of my games ended by me running out of time. I had no problem killing the gremlins or collecting the mogwai, the problem is that after I'd gotten a few nights in, I'd have the level almost cleared, there would be one creature left on the other side of the screen and the sun would come up before I could get to it. It would get to a point where there just wasn't time enough to deal with all the creatures. Gremlins: The Adventure - The same company made a line of adventure games based on Marvel superheroes. All of them were rather hard to figure out. I never made it through any of them, Gremlins included.
In Gremlins Unleashed, you collect bottles of water as Stripe so he can reproduce. No idea why Gizmo collects glasses. My guess is they were meant to be the 3D glasses he wears in the movie but there was a miscommunication with the artist.
OMG. The Wii game. Who the hell is this for?! I feel like you were just very nice to one of the most perplexing games ever made. I have a 4 YO daughter, and I have no idea why she would want to play this and she is kind of in the target demographic for this level of... lets say 'simplistic' gameplay. The Wii has a reasonably okay graphics chip, but from the opening the magwaii (however that's spelt) is horrifying. The gremlins look less terrifying than the main character! And what child is watching Gremlins and thinking "I want that... but with stupid ring-toss minigames and incompetent kart simulations?". (I think they put a light source right next to magwaii's eyes to give them more highlight, but it highlights the inside of his eyelids so instead of cute he looks more "join the dark side! Together we can become stronger than you ever imagined!") I can only imagine how this game manifested. Some guy at the marketing firm bursts into the room and yells "holy shit guys! I just bought the rights to make a video game for Gremlins! It only cost $10,000 because WB doesn't know what to do with this!" and someone in the room said "What the fuck is a video game? Do we know what to do with this?", and then they paid someone else $50,000 to make this absolute abortion of a game which would never have recovered even the $5000 or whatever it cost to license the Wii Dev kit and the cost of pressing the DVDs. I know that Ninja Bread Man is basically the poster child of Wii shovelware, but Gremlins on Wii rises above the pack to act as a beacon of what "I do not give a fuck about this game" really looks like.
Atari 5200 (or other 8 bit computers) Gremlins is a masterpiece of Crash era gaming. If only the main system it's on wasn't actually infested with said critters.
I have all the non computer games. I had to import unleashed, i also imported the japanese version of the GB part 2 so the cover art doesnt match the nes 🤣
Normally not a fan of movie games but I really like the Atari 5200 and Commodore 64 versions. Gremlins 2 was a great NES game. The only problem I had with it was I beat it over a weekend so I didn’t buy it. Still very memorable and well designed game. Unfortunately the PC version I bought for super cheap was not that good.
@BurstError I'm just shock since I've been buying figures from them for years. This is the first time i'm hearing about Them being involved in video games outside of physical Collectibles
I hope the arcade rom gets dumped soon, before erosion/time claims It. :( If you ever dig Into the Small Soldiers game, you have to give some attention to the soundstrack of the PS1 game.

A jetpack gremlin? You talking about a gremlin using advanced technology to fly around and get in your face? IT'S IN THE GAME!
I wonder how many people nowadays are going to actually understand this reference 😂👏.
"You have the mind of a child, and it's in the GAME!"🤣

I would love a Gremlins 3. It would be cool if Billy's kid got a Mogwai to start the adventure.
Great videos. Gremlins 2 for NES is my fav game all time period.
It's in my top 5 for sure.Battletoads, Kabuki Quantum fighter, then Gremlins2.
Awesome video. Glad i stuck to the early Gremlins game only so far haha, but it’s always fun to get a more in-depth look at other video games I wouldn’t normally!
oh you know you wanna play Gremlins Gizmo!
I had no idea that there were so many Gremlins games! I’m right there with you on the NES version. That 8-bit soundtrack still gets stuck in my head to this day 🤘🏻

Thanks! time to fire up the dot matrix!! :)
So glad the algorithm brought your channel to my attention. Instant sub.
Also, LOVED Small Soldiers.
These compilation videos are my favorite videos you upload, I really love seeing weird niche stuff I would never look at as a kid.
Great channel, hope you continue to grow!
much appreciated! :)
The wood paneling is glorious.

NES definitely the best choice! would be a fun stream to watch :D
I used to play Gremlins 2 on nes a ton. Great game!
A modern gremlins game with some serious love behind it would be amazing.
I'm surprised how well-modelled Wii Gizmo is!
I remember seeing Gremlins 2 being demonstrated on one of those multicart NES kiosks in a department store back in the day and thinking it looked pretty decent.
First game I played
Great video! I had no idea how many Gremlins games were around before you streamed them. Even though the wii game is just shovelware, I had a lot of fun watching that one and froggy Gizmo is the greatest thing ever lol. I can't wait to watch these on Friday! :D (also, great thumbnail!!)
FROGGY GIZMO HYPE
Oh wow, I'd heard of almost all of the games here, but I never knew about the DOS version. How they could make a Gremlins game without any of the iconic music or any music in general is just a shame!
I appreciate that you went to the trouble of sourcing a time machine to talk about the Gremlins game released next year. No spoilers though.
Brain Gremlin made it for me :)

NES movie games have very bad reputation due to LJN, the Batman games are notable exceptions, also made by Sunsoft.
I agree, a lot of NES movie games were bad. But there are some great ones also.

That animation on Gizmo in the GBC game is incredible.
Mr Wing: Welcome, Gizmo, what item would you like?
Gizmo: Yes.
"Developed by LSP?"
Lee Scratch Perry made the Gremlins game for GBC?
The platform segment at 09:05 looks diabolical! :O
Ah, burger making, welding and jump on floating platforms, all crucial elements in the Gremlins franchise.🙃
Can't believe I'm just now seeing this new vid. Good stuff man!

well, we should throw down in 2600 Gremlins sometime then! I did appreciate how absurdly fast it gets eventually.
The Atari 2600 game gets points for having an actual font instead of just the standard block text.
Thanks.
I am praying everyday so there is no Gremlins 3. Or Goonies 2. Or Roboco... wait ok.😢
I remember playing Gremlins 2 on NES it took me forever to beat it.
Amazing intro!

From the great to the Gizmo caca! Haha insta sub
I’ve always wanted a Gremlins 3 movie, the animated show just isn’t enough!
That kid from gremlins was so stupid. Imagine if it was a dog n he was told no chocolate bye bye rover 😂
80s goodness
In Gremlins Unleashed, you collect bottles of water as Stripe so he can reproduce. No idea why Gizmo collects glasses. My guess is they were meant to be the 3D glasses he wears in the movie but there was a miscommunication with the artist.
Super Cool 😎 Video!👍
Thanks for the video. You may find the C64 version of G2 to be a bit easier than the Amiga one, check it out!
nice I'll have to give a go!
Christmas film class 👌🏻
"So if a Gremlin Handy is worth it to you..."
Excuse me, what?

The NES version is one of the best, same as the movies ... classics!
Is it just me or does Burst Error's voice sound a bit like Rod Serling?
BRO there was a GREMLINS ARCADE game? DUUUUDE
I know!! I still really hope a playable version gets released someday
Props for calling it a Z X Spectrum and not a ZEE X Spectrum.
Wait a minute they had a Wii Gremlins game I thought they only had Gremlins on the Nintendo and Gameboy this is brand new news to me
NICE TV
(nice video too)
thanks omqwat! I've been putting it to good use once I finally found some coax cables lol :D

Unlike the DOS version mentioned, the Commodore 64 version of Gremlins 2 - The New Batch features music! ^_^

I loved most of those games. But jot the wii or ds one 😂
I remember only one game for the NES. I couldn't get passed the first stage
Sunsoft had a few great games for the NES. The Gremlins 2 one is one of the best IMO
gremlins 2 sunsoft: COUGH STARTROPICS COUGH
You missed one, Gremlins on the BBC Model B microcomputer! 1985 and was first one i played
@@JamesNoms I thought it was the same as the C64 Adventure one? Just without the graphics.
I had all both of the games I know one was for game boy and one was for Nintendo
Nes for the win!
I've never played any of them
Gremlins 2 was elite
How ghostbusters get over exposure but not gremlins?
I came here right after watching a video by operatordrewsky… and you guys sound the same to my old ears! Should I go see a doctor?
Gremlins 3: Gremlins on the Moon
I'm into this idea
How am I just now learning neca produced video games?!
As far as I know, Gremlins Gizmo on Wii and DS were Neca's only video game releases. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing lol
@BurstError I'm just shock since I've been buying figures from them for years. This is the first time i'm hearing about Them being involved in video games outside of physical Collectibles
Why was there never a Gremlins v Critters movie??
It would have destroyed the movie industry, since no one would ever be able to top that combination. except maybe Gremlins vs Critters vs Ghoulies
PRESS BUTTON
PUSH BUTT,PUSH BUTT,PUSH BUTT,PUSH BUTT
I want a gremlin Handy.
Gremlins 2 was the best one
I hope the arcade rom gets dumped soon, before erosion/time claims It. :(
If you ever dig Into the Small Soldiers game, you have to give some attention to the soundstrack of the PS1 game.
I'm betting it is dumped somewhere but either has to be found or someone has it and hasn't released it.
way back when i was a kid i thought the artai's sucked. if it wasn't for the NES i'd probably never would of been a gamer.
Multiversus is out now. It sucks.
Movie came out when i was 3, Gizmo was grandmas nickname for me
Ghostbusters gremlins goonies Star wars. Let it go. Grow up.
