I watch your videos because of how raw/genuine they are, it makes you just sound like a fan of the series rather than someone who produces the videos for views
To be honest, I sort of try to make that my style. Since I am always really annoyed by watching over prepped videos. Idk, might sound like an excuse for me being lazy, but in this case it is not
I watch your videos because you talk about stuff people find unimportant or uninteresting such as your video on the Penitus Oculatus and necromancy but most importantly i find you include more detailed information compared to mainstream lore channels who say they same basic information but dont truly expand on the details like most lore masters enjoy.

I wouldn't say the Empire chose to help itself rather than the other provinces during the Oblivion Crisis. In The Elder Scrolls IV we learn that the local Legion presence is low. So low, even, that Ocato could not send any forces to aid Martin Septim at Bruma in destroying the Great Gate there because it would mean drawing forces from the other provinces.
This is futher confirmed by the deep anti-Empire Count Marius Caro, who points out that the Empire focuses excessively on the other provinces and leaves Cyrodiil to fend for itself.

I was specifically pointing out the Oblivion Crisis.
Also, the reason why Skyrim has to recruit its own militia is because of a common threat that borders Cyrodiil. Were the Empire's forces split, defeat would be inevitable.

The reason I watch your videos is because you are pretty much the only channel I know that is exclusively dedicated to TES lore.
I personally prefer the videos on modern tamriel (4E).

After recently finally being able to completely play and enjoy Morrowind, I have to say it always saddens me when I hear what happened to this province after the events in TES III and IV. So many beautiful places destroyed and can only imagine how many things you helped to shape, simply ended as memory... Still, there is always hope for this province as long as their people live.

I watch your videos because I'm a lore fanatic who can't get enough tes. The topic that caught my attention specifically on your channel was when you covered the great war & civil war in skyrim, those two subjects really interest me.
Old ass video but to answer your question still: you're really good at summarizing things that happened TES universe and im running a D&D campaign that takes place in 4E 226 on a small coninent i made up that lies east and slightly north of Morrowind.
I watch your videos because you go into detail with the ES lore. Far more enjoyable than clicking through hundreds of Wikia pages.

I know this was four years ago but your videos actually give good information and doesn't make lore hard to understand and repetitive.
First time commenting on any pf your vids. I have a few reasons, but above all else I watch because you go out of your way to discuss topics about the lore that is little known to the rest of us... well, to me. I have learned a lot thanks to you.
I watch them because I always wanted to learn more about TES lore, but couldn't find the right format or a reliable source other than the wikis or the games themselves. These videos cover a lot of topics with detail and some are even linked in terms of content, which makes understanding chains of important events and ellaborating on a certain topic pretty easy and accessible.
You sir do a magnificent job with these.

The reason i watch your videos is because you cover topics that i find fascinating. I love the Elder Scrolls series, and the story and history behind it, and your videos fill that niche that i don't really see covered in the same way elsewhere
I love your map videos so much! They're all so interesting and fun to speculate on, I know they must take a while to make but it would be awesome if you could make more!
I watch your videos because they don't mix in too much headcanon or rely on Kirkbride as much as other videos do. You explain things based off in-game material for the most part, or material that Bethesda has recognised as part of the actual lore.

I watch your videos because out of every other "Lore Historian" channel on TH-cam you consistently, in my opinion, put so much effort into each and every one of your videos and research all sides of a topic so that you present it in an unbiased manner. Elder Scrolls lore is a subject I am super passionate about studying, and have been for years, and your videos still provide information that is completely new to me which honestly just goes to show how awesome and well researched your videos are to me. Whether they be your recent ones, or ones like these that are over 3 years old, the quality is astounding and that's why I watch. Yeah I try to make them really "listening" videos and have the visuals not really be required. Because that is how I wish all videos were since I am always doing something else while watching videos and I get annoyed when I miss something I was supposed to see on the screen :P

I was here very close to when you first started and i seen alot of potential for a good lore channel then I noticed your voice and your accent and how hard it was to pronounce the English and I am to this day extremely impressed with how fast you've been able to overcome alot of boundaries and i mean this in no disrespect man lore is good i share many of the same opinions as you when it comes to skyrim or TES lore in general seeing you work with avarti (hope thats spelt right) and straight up Irish was exciting hope you continue the channle for some time.

The high detail of lore videos is definitely worth watching. I also find that a lot of elder scrolls youtubers I used to watch have gone down the path of clickbait titles, brief and rushed explanations or top tens to keep up view counts

the reason i subscribed to your content was you have a very well thought out and detailed examination of political stances and events that few other channels truly grasp in such depth as you do. The Fantasy world of TES is easy to get lost in heroic granduer and the epic poetic glory of the cosmos but the down to earth core of national relations that the lore consists of building such problems as simple as Empire versus Dominion you hammer the nail of the topic on the head everytime (your second Great War video for example was golden for logical play by play for the reality of what would happen). You represent well observed socio-political, economic, and the intricacies of this lores dynamics, which is rich for killing my free time when grinding on games or when i have down time. Otherwise you're a good channel who deserves all the praise you receive for your hard work, and i appreciate your efforts to producing such content for people like me to enjoy.

I just stumbled upon your channel's videos because i'm having a hard time deciding which Great House to join in my playthrough of Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, lol. I appreciate this video especially because I've been doing a roleplay on Discord where my character goes back to Morrowind after the events in Skyrim's civil war. I'd love to join your Discord if you're heavily into Elder Scrolls on there.
I usually watch/listen to vids in one of two ways. I watch when I have nothing going on or I listen to vids in the car rather the radio.
As for your videos I listen to them because I find you to be a genuine fan and someone who doesn't claim to know everything. The videos are also filled with lots of lore. Your reading and voice come off as genuine and you dont sound like the usual pompous know it all nerd. It's the fact that you dont claim to know everything, are humble about it; and the fact that you break your videos down in a narrative driven time line which is most appealing. Hence why I subscribed even though most vids are months old I still watch them as they are new to me.
Not sure if you have done this but it would be great if on the map you added in all the cities or towns locations. I find that for someone like myself who just played skyrim and oblivion it would help me understand the overall picture of the continent.
