  • Add Bluetooth to any home stereo in just minutes. Add Hi Fidelity Bluetooth receiver to any vintage stereo. Quick installation instructions for hooking up and pairing a Bluetooth Receiver to any Home Stereo. The BluDento HD is one of my top 4 Bluetooth receivers of 2021
    Note.... Modern Receivers do not have the power outlet on the rear of unit, so you will have to find 110v somewhere else. Like a power strip or wall outlet.

    Bought my Sansui 5050 in 1981. It has a microphone jack. Been plugging in my phone for years. Of course I can't be mobile with my music but it does work.

      The DLT-HD would give you much better sound quality and the proper live level...
      BTW.......... You have a very nice receiver. Love that Sui sound:) Cheers

    It’s very easy isn’t it. I am loving my Bludento BLT2, I never realised that streaming could be so good as I had bought only cheap Bluetooth receivers in the past. I am now firmly in the convert camp.

      The new receivers sure do sound good. For good Hi Fidelity I prefer these straight receiver units. Antenna up yet?

    The passcode of BluDento device is set to 0000 (four zero) by default. However we can set different passcode for every BluDento device in order to avoid strange connections.

    I watched all the videos of the bluetooth devices and it made me confused so I want you to give me the best bluetooth device so that I can be convinced to buy the product, I have an old classic hi-fi device and I hope to find the solution and have a high quality bluetooth stereo, thank you

    Great video , connected my Bludento today to my Nad amp . Normally i never need to turn my amp beyond 9 o'clock with other inputs . With the Bludento i'm having to turn it past the 1 o'clock position . Double checked everything is connected fine and phone is set at full volume . Tried the phone with phono to 3.5mm lead and the volume is way louder and i only need to set amp volume dial to 9 0'clock . settings and song are all consitent . I am really stumped as to why its so quiet ? Thanks in advance

      Try a different input, maybe swap out the BT device on the CD in or Tuner in. Maybe try a different RCA Cable. The BLT-HD does put out a full 2v rms, so it should be as loud as a CD player, tape deck, ........ But you may have a defective unit, it is rare but can happen.

    Mike, great videos. I have a Marantz 2226B and a Fisher 232. I am using a BluDento BLT-HD. Everything works fine on the Marantz, but cannot get sound out of the Fisher. The phone pairs to the BLT-HD just fine, but cannot get sound out of Aux or Tape In. I have had a reputable local vintage electronics shop look at the Fisher, they say all inputs are working when they hook up phono, tape, etc. Any guesses on what the diff. might be between the two receivers? Thanx for any help, R.

      Try hooking up a CD, VCR or a Cable/Dish receiver into the RCA in on your Fisher. Point is use something else with RCA out to hook into the fisher to check for yourself if the inputs are working on the receiver. Check any Tape mon button.
      Just sounds odd that you have pre-amp out from the BLT-HD that wors on the Marantz and not the Fisher.

    Could you tell me is there a way to use Bluetooth speakers with a vintage receiver? I have some large Polks and they just take up too much room

    Does this solve the low volume issue of cheaper bluetooth receivers? I had seen another video of yours where you used a line driver to overcome that problem. Just wondering if I bought this, do I need to do all that line driver stuff.
    Thanks.

    • @breakerbroke23
      @breakerbroke23  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes the this device has the proper line level. I have noticed that devices with RCA out (vs 3.5mm) have the correct level (2.0 v rms)
      Thanks for watching and have a Merry Christmas.

    I have 2 old receivers (from the 80s and 90s), and neither of them has that power outlet on the back. How should I power the unit in Europe (220/240volts)?

    • @breakerbroke23
      @breakerbroke23  ปีที่แล้ว

      AC wall adapter, not sure but you may need to step voltage from 220 to 110.

    Does it sound much better than just hooking my phone up to my amp with an RCA to 3.5mm jack?

    • @breakerbroke23
      @breakerbroke23  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends on the built in DAC of the phone. In most cases these higher end BT Receivers do sound better IMHO
      ... And your not tethered to the stereo.

    • @graemebo21
      @graemebo21 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@breakerbroke23 is there an external dac you would recommend? I've done a little research but it a minefield out their. Also do I need to be using the best possible high fidelity streams like Deezer/ tidal hifi as apposed to the standard premium ones

    • @breakerbroke23
      @breakerbroke23  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am old School, that being said I only have experience with using one DAC, it is the Schiit MODI 3. So far I like it but using BT codec I don't much hear much of an improvement when using it with these higher end BT Receivers. I now mostly use the DAC to link from my TV to my stereo ( I do like the sound ) as the TV does not have RCA audio out. The DAC is only 100 bucks and I think its worth the money. There may be better DACs out there but mine works very well for my needs. Schiit Modi 3 amzn.to/37W30aN

      Ok thankyou. Thanks the one I had done alot of research on. Unfortunately it seems quite hard to source in the UK and if it is available its about 3 times the price here.
      Thanks for advice tho
