Thank you for this! I used a pair of pliars to pull out the little plastic tab: it was very easy to do and worked a treat! Cleaned the rubber with methalated spirits and my printer is now as good as new and runs perfectly. Thanks!
Paper jams because of dusty paper feed rollers is a common problem I think. I just cleaned the feed rollers of my laser printer, and now it works again. I wish I had found this video before I did it. I spent quite a lot of time troubleshooting. By the way, OKI recommends just water on the cloth. I got good results with just water on a microfibre cloth. Thanks for the good video.
what do you pull, poke, twist, turn or whatever to open the back of canon ip1000 so I can get into it. paper is being taken up but only one side of page. My next move is to throw it through the window ... at wits end and I have just put in brand new cartridges
I wish to correct my previous comment. Cleaning with water on a cloth is not effective in the long run. The video creator suggests using alcohol on the cloth. I have found alcohol to work much better than water for my printer. Thanks again for the video. Alcohol as used in the video is a good recommendation.
I could not get mine going -- I cleaned the rollers-- nothing -- so I tried one last thing -- ( since I have a dog shedding German Shep around the house ) I got my leaf blower and blew my JV1080 printer from the button paper try up and then at the open top down and back to the bottom paper try into the guts of the machine -- it must have blown something out -- as it now WORKS FINE -- could be just dust and a dog hair or 2 perhaps -- my printer is about 10 years old and going strong!! Cheaper to run than colour printers --

Omg! It worked. I just fixed mine using same method. Found plum seed. My son's handwork i guess 😊. Thanks for posting.
Thank you, got my machine back to working. Much appreciated.
I used a cheap sponge paint brush, instead of a cloth, because my hand couldn't reach the rollers and it worked.

Sorry I don't have any manual of that printer. Inmost canon printers there are screws on the back to remove panels
Thanks for this video! Cool music and it sounds like a documentary lol
This is very helpful! Thank you

Thank you for video. ACTION speaks louder than words. Excellent music.
Thanks, well explained.
i have a canon pixma mg3550 i have no real way of getting to the rollers or separation pad, not enough room to fit my hand in
Mine same, I have pixma mx350 and got 3 screw behind but hardly to reach the roller. It so hard to clean the roller.
Useful video
Thank you very much Sir
Thank you very much. But another video said it is not good to use alcohol to clean rollers🤔

Fuji Xerox?
sei bravissimo.
+marco pozzi Grazie!
this is very helpful my printer can be used again! tho im wondering why no canon printer? 😂
+MsSyth I have no Canon printers in office, but procedures are the same
Good work, you might want to search for a video called how to clean your desk though xD
alcohol will dry out the roller and destroy it!!!!
Really not, unless you let it in immersion for two days
