I am having a gray haze problem. I think the toner cartridge I used was not compatible, now I am trying to clean the roller but it feels like there is no end to it. The more I clean it the more I can. I have been trying to it with napkins and cotton bud. It gets worse after the printer gets warmer. How long am I supposed to clean it for? Should I use water?
you can use a cloth lightly dampened with water but you do not need to clean it perfectly. compressed air is the best. however maybe the roller is worn out
I went to print out some business cards on my xerox phaser 6022 and it did a horrible job. First time after many uses. How do I clean the sticky stuck ink off the rollers? I tried the stick another piece of paper in and it jammed immediately. Plus, if I don't have any lint free clothes, are alcohol pads ok?

I never change this fuser, sorry I can't help you that much. The manual says reset the printer by turning it off and on again. and if the message still appears update the firmware. I hope it helps

I think the problem could be the fuser unit. You can remove the transfer roller disassembling the drum unit but if you already changed the drum unit I think it's not the problem

@@viandant5 Yes, Approximately 2.5 inches apart horizontally. I removed the Magenta and ran another cartridge and it worked fine. The problem is that cartridge is almost full of toner. I've adjusted the Doctor Blade several times.

There is just one problem that when I print an image in grayscale the printer prints that image in yellowish black not completely black. Why does this yellowish tone develops even though I print in grayscale? Kindly recommend some solution
@@viandant5 I don't see that my cyan, magenta or black cartridges are low. Yellow cartridges does not seems to be defective since color prints seems good. If there is any problem despite of these facts in yellow cartridges, what can that be. Kindly tell solution? And predict what defect can be in yellow cartridge.
@@viandant5 actually while refilling I had never disassembled the doctor blade and it's on the original position as it was when I bought it new. And also for other 3 cartridges I had never moved their doctor blades from their original position. So why does this situation arise that the doctor blade need to be adjusted?

may be you are trying to print a document with unsupported symbols or characters. If you have the problem only with a PDF document try to print it as image

@@ercouldnt whar is exact 2 fingers? It could be the circunference of the toner roller or the charge roller. Is there a defect on the drum where the black dot is?
@@viandant5 it is about 2 santimeter from dot to dot vertically. so there is 11 dots vertically and 6 horizontally per line. i can send you a picture of it sir if you want. by the way when i have cleaned the drum, i couldnt see any damage on it but tomorrow i will look at it more carefully.

You mean there is paper stuck in the transfer roller? However you cam use a normal cotton cloth. It would be better not to use alcohol

The doctor blade must be adjusted, set it downward so there is less toner on the roller surface

Check if the drum turns freely, check if there are foreign objects somewhere near the drum, check if the transfer roller is in the correct position

The grey scale are printed using the colors, not the black. May be the yellow cartridge is defective, or cyan and magenta are low

There is a fuser in that cartridge, to reset the error you have to change it. then the light print could depend on the toner cartridge

Did you check the toner cartridge? Is the toner evenly distribuited on the toner roller?

it could be the developer roller into the toner hopper, or the blade, or the toner too old
