hello, I need help please, I have a kodak printer/scanner hero 9.1 and I took it completely apart following a disassembling video youtu.be. I don't have any problems with dried ink, or stuck cartridge. I barely used the printer and I kept it covered. I have tried to clean all the rollers and they were not dirty, im just stuck after trying for 3 days. the rollers move when I try to print, but after a few seconds I get paper jam error because it never picked up and there is no paper jam. can you help please? btw, the paper roller sits on top of the paper, is it suppose to be up? I looked with a flashlight and it just spins over the papers but I never see it drop down from above.
is the gear, attached to what you pulled out? I have cleaned the rollers several times, but I don't think the rollers are dropping. When I manually wind the gear to the far side, the wheels drop, so they are capable of doing so. But when I hit print and look into the front where the paper is, I don't see that they drop to grab the paper. If I find a way to order the long piece you took out, will that fix the gear issue is the big question.
Hi, 303! I have an HP 8625 from Costco that has been excellent = I have used the document feeder very little. This week it stopped feeding well. By well I mean that it starts to feed then goes crooked on the left side and creates a paper jam. I cleaned the rollers thanks to your video. They didn't appear dirty at all however. Nothing has changed. Could there be a plastic part on the left side that is causing this? Thank you.
Hi. A few places to check. Make sure the paper guides in the traybare set to paper size you are using. Another reason, most likely the one, is the duplex unit. It seems like it is not installed fully. Remove it, check to make sure there aren't any obstruction, open duplex unit and check. The reinstall and make sure both sides click in. Let me know how that goes.
@@303electronics Hello 303- Thank you for your reply! I just spent another hour or so on this thing- and lo and behold I opened the scanner unit to see that back end and there was the tip of one of those black packing wires sticking out. I gently pulled it out. That was the issue as it works again now. Must have been in there all this time and finally worked itself sorta out!
i have one question. One roller has at one side a white plastic holder where it turns in. How is it at the other side. With my printer there is a black part on top of the middle of that roller. Like the core of that roller has no holder or is that part broken with me , because that roller has much space to move for and backwards what can cause a paper rolling problem.
I'm having issues with my HP 8600 Officejet. It will not pick up papers on my Top Loading feed tray. I cleaned all the rollers inside the feed mechanism, the feed paddle, etc. But, it will still not feed? I have unplugged and reset the machine etc. I can find no paper jams anywhere. I've tried it about 30 times, still it will not feed. What else do I do now?
Pressing a button usually doesn't solve this problem. If you see paper stuck or a piece of paper stuck in the printer somewhere, use tweezers and gently pull on the piece. Open all possible covers to get easier access and release any jams.
You're a god! Couldn't figure out why in the world my paper wouldn't pick up. I guess after a year of sitting under my desk it got a lil dusty lol
THANK YOU SO MUCH. This helped me correct my problem. Thanks again.🤗

The removal of the rollers wasn't exactly smooth lol
To clean rollers, they do not need to be removed. Just for replacement.
