      I've come to truly loathe the audience. I watched every Colbert segment during the pandemic. Now I'm thinking about unsubbing from him... the audience is the WORST part about these shows.

      @@Richard_Nickerson agree- for Seth especially, he turns interviews into a conversation so easily and that's his best quality, the lack of audience helps that.That episode with Mulaney and the one with Wally the cue card guy are good examples, the audience wouldn't give a s- about a crew member being interviewed.

      Yes! I prefer to wait to hear Amber or John Mulaney laugh hardest when everyone else’s laughter has died down. Strangers in the studio would just ruin the vibe that we, as an intimate group of best friends, have spent the last year cultivating.

      I would feel badly about making that joke, but because we have gone through so much together and hav become such good friends, I can bust his balls. I love how close we are now!

    That was classic. I think what really entertains me about Seth and in this interview with Amy is that I realize they both are just being themselves. Making each other and those around them laugh. They no doubt love to make everyone around them laugh as a matter of everyday living. This riffing and improv on their SNL tryouts was just hilarious. I love it when Seth imitates Lorne. Mike Myers, Dana Carvey, and Fallon do funny impersonation of Lorne too.

    Oh my gosh, I could just listen to Seth and Amy riff off each other FOREVER. Throw in Tina Fey and Jimmy Fallon on occasion, and maybe occasionally a couple others, and just rotate them out, but never ANYTHING planned, nor is it regular stand-up, just them riffing off each other for hours on end. It would become the soundtrack of my life.
