Mark, Your advice is always top-notch. You're truly a kind and generous person. I wasn't able to get my project off the ground with you last year, but I'm hoping we can collaborate this time around. I also have a question: could you share some examples of projects that were contracted with you but didn't pan out? What were the reasons behind their failures?
By using a $1 deposit you are just filtering out people who are less likely to purchase from your email list, they shouldn't hurt though right? so why exclude?
how did you collected 1$ from every person? most money transfer platforms (like stripe) won't let you do that or charge you additional 1,5$ for every transaction. sounds like it didn't happen
I think your book would be in high demand if it were you translate it into Spanish. Little by little, creativity and Latino talent are discovering the importance of crowdfunding ...
oh lol, right away - email lists are not enough, how about $1? You are totally wrong and must stay away of KS. I as a backer would refuse to support such manipulative campaign
But why? It enables creators to gain insights into demand, ultimately contributing to the overall project success - a benefit surely every backer would appreciate, right? Plus, there's no need to pay $1 you can simply wait and back the project once it goes live.

Thanks for these tips, absolutely great stuff.

You're aren't excluding them because you don't show the $1 offer until after you've collected their email.
how did you collected 1$ from every person? most money transfer platforms (like stripe) won't let you do that or charge you additional 1,5$ for every transaction.
sounds like it didn't happen
We use Stripe for the payment processing!
#5 Totally Agree!!!! Sell the Amazing reasons why the product is Awesome!
Is it possible to take 1$ deposit without taking email before?)Is it possible to target without collecting emails?))
That would be pointless
It's possible, but I wouldn't recommend it.
I think your book would be in high demand if it were you translate it into Spanish. Little by little, creativity and Latino talent are discovering the importance of crowdfunding ...
That's a great idea. I'll put that on the roadmap for 2025

+1 I won't back anything using this manipulation.
But why?
It enables creators to gain insights into demand, ultimately contributing to the overall project success - a benefit surely every backer would appreciate, right?

@@sergolija we can get insights by following project and not by using this tactics
