Not being able to have hard discussions with or about people who have awful views is stifling to public discourse, and it's becoming harder and harder to even talk about these things online because of how paranoid all the major platforms are about superficially pissing off mindless, spineless, know-nothing advertisers. It's really disturbing how more and more channels that discuss history, philosophy, and politics have to _censor_ out swastikas and the word, "Nazi" for fear of angering the great algorithm :/ This is what happens when Pepsi gets to dictate what we talk about and bases their standards upon whether or not vapid, shallow, and spiteful click bait article writers can create empty outrage by showing 5 seconds of video where a historical film clip of a Nazi rally transitions into an advertisement for cola. You know, despite the fact that an American soft drink advertisement plastered all over Nazi symbolism is probably the biggest middle finger society could ever possibly give to them.

keep talking as if you always have an audience. If you always assume or see that you have nobody watching then it will show, and then actual viewers who pop in will see that you arent talking and then leave. This channel has a bunch of other helpful videos about that! So dig around :)
I play with random of up to 30 people or more it's a bit difficult to handle people on what they say. But I try to moderate it all. I wish they added a mute all feature to games like SCP SL, the game I mainly stream
What if you’re streaming, and someone else joins you and they are also streaming, says a slur or something against TOS, would you also be banned for it or would only the other person be banned?
i’m not completely sure, but i think they’ll look it over and the other person would eventually get banned or suspended. you might get suspended for a bit but if you act immediately and get them out of the VC, you should be in the clear. i’m not an expert but if they ban your for someone else’s stream language, that shouldn’t be fair especially if it was out of character for them. this is just what i think, i’m not 100% sure though.

Some make clips, but not like before.
Probably only limit mods to make clips/post clips.
I just started streaming so this is gonna be helpful
this was helpful
What about stuff like "that scene" in Last of Us 2 or stuff drawn genitals when people play Jackbox Party Pack? I had a friend playing who kept drawing stuff like "bellend Barry" which while we all thought it was highly amusing.. I couldn't figure out if it was against ToS.. I do have the stream set to "mature audiences" but still
I would like to know as well
Hi there! I am a small streamer on twitch and wanted to ask if you have any tips por me? Ps. I have watched most of your video's 🙈
Thank you 😊🙌💕✨
Thank you!
Hope it helps!
Question. What if I am playing an online multiplayer game and the people say words such as the n-word?
Nice runescape reference king
Hahaha finally someone caught it.
thanks for this
Twitch: "No discrimination of age!" Also twitch: "BAN ALL 10 YEAR OLDS!!!"
Hey man, wondering how convert unique viewers into people who stick around? I don't get a chance to talk to them because I don't know they're there until they leave, how can I capture their attention? I recently got affiliate and am trying to grow more
keep talking as if you always have an audience.
I have a potty mouth thank you for making this haha
Did you know "Moist" is an alt rock Canadian grunge band from the 90s? They're actually quite good! Look them up.
What if you delete the video before you end stream do still get in trouble for saying wrong word or phrase
What if you’re streaming, and someone else joins you and they are also streaming, says a slur or something against TOS, would you also be banned for it or would only the other person be banned?
i’m not completely sure, but i think they’ll look it over and the other person would eventually get banned or suspended. you might get suspended for a bit but if you act immediately and get them out of the VC, you should be in the clear. i’m not an expert but if they ban your for someone else’s stream language, that shouldn’t be fair especially if it was out of character for them. this is just what i think, i’m not 100% sure though.
...You should know all the equipment you should get before you start"

Whole YRG getting banned
A Modern Warfare 2 lobby has stepped into the chat
4:37 I have two more tips
Before I get to that tho
THERE IS A STUPID FLY IN THE ROOM THAT I NEED TO KILL FIRST
If it is set to public will I be able to see it? and will it show up on my stream if I have a widget on?
Hmmmm.... I call myself a fa.... f word a lot. ..... hmmm.....
Also twitch updated terms to exclude what other people say on your stream. I know this is 3 months old. But I was happy to see that bit changed.
I should say, you still have to make a good attempt to prevent it from happening and as a VRChat streamer. Welp. Things happen a lot. Like a lot. It was nice to see the change happen since, yes, I do block or mute people quickly or as quickly as I can that start being toxic
I've heard VR chat and other games like that are very tough to moderate other users, must be brutal.
@@StreamScheme it has safety settings so you can avoid avatar issues. But yeah. Voice and stuff can be tough. But doable. Its not hard to quickly hide everyone and every voice if needed.
You also can get banned for just implying these things or if one of them can be taken the wrong way.
Such as double/tripple entendres.
Is there any other streaming platform besides TH-cam and Twitch?
My first month streaming. Didn’t have a camera at first. Didn’t know if I could swear on twitch(I never watched streams before). So I convinced my girlfriend (she’s a strong worded women) we will no longer be swearing in the house. Now I have a camera and I’m smoking joints on live calling other people ****** if I lose to them. I will probably get banned lol
Will you get penalized if youre in a game lobby and someone youre not associated with says something bannable?
seen you were apart of the drip squad
Does TH-cam allow
More then twitch ? I just recently switched from TH-cam to Twitch.
