I'm struggling so badly , with sleep anxiety and morning anxiety, it just come out of the blue unexpected 💙! It's so debilitating affected my immune system and my mental heath 😮 ❤
Hope my tips are helpful for you Jane. I've also posted a vlog just on morning anxiety so please do take a look. www.avogel.co.uk/health/menopause/videos/is-anxiety-in-the-morning-a-menopause-symptom/ Best Wishes Eileen
That’s me also. It got so bad that my doctor prescribed Ativan My insomnia causes so much h anxiety. All day I think if I am going to sleep or not at night.
Thank you so much for talking about this very serious issue.....sleep has been my biggest enemy on and off for years but seems to has gotten worst lately....anyone who experience sleepless nights knows how difficult it can be...it increases anxiety which is a vicious circle.....am so thankful and grateful for these weekly and timely vlogs the tips and advice are always welcome...thanks Eillen❤
I struggle to calm my active brain despite trying many recommendations. I've also had night terrors, which are awful. I'm now trying white noise, especially gentle rain. Informative vlog, Eileen, thank you. 😊
Definitely watch what you are in putting during the day. Someone will say something "bad for my brain" during the day, I tell them " if I have a nightmare tonight I'm calling you up even if it's at 3 in the morning" they usually laugh.
This was an interesting one for sure. I am glad i am on the right track with figuring out its my brain that wakes me up early and I am unable tonfall back asleep. I have no problem falling asleep. I cants stay asleep.
Hi Yvette You may find the Night Essence helpful here. Flower Essences work on reducing the brain's 'chatter' allowing the mind to stay switched off for longer www.avogel.co.uk/jan-de-vries/bach-flower-remedies/night-essence/ Best Wishes Eileen
I have had nightmares all the time for the last 5 years. It's horrible. I am in the peri stage and so badly want this to be over. I dread sleeping. Thank you for the video.
You're welcome Sarah! You could try the Night Essence, as the Essences are known to help ease emotional distress www.avogel.co.uk/jan-de-vries/bach-flower-remedies/night-essence/ Best Wishes Eileen
Cannabis is the reason I can sleep. 51 here and about to celebrate one year of no bleeding on Mothers day. It's been a horrible journey. I was not prepared.
Thank you for a helpful video. Would it be possible to do one about having PMS-like symptoms in menopause please? Apparently this can be quite common 😮
Hi Wendel Yes, PMS-like symptoms are really common especially in the beginning of the menopause. Although hormone levels are falling, there can still be a sort of monthly cycle for quite a while. Hormones are not high enough to trigger a bleed but can often cause the usual PMS symptoms that were experienced before periods stopped Best Wishes Eileen
I am in perimeno, and it happens to me the sleep paralysis . My specialist told me it's when there is a time between the brain wok up and the body wok up . Just try to go back and don t panic usually it took less than few minutes before both get in the same time and you wok up normally. Than you very much for what you are doing. You really saved my life from going crazy . Could you do a video on the perimeno and understand where we are and how long to get to the other side. Thank you very much again.
You're welcome, glad to be of help! I have posted a vlog on perimenopause ending, here's the link for you What are the signs that perimenopause is ending? | A.Vogel Talks Menopause (avogel.co.uk) Best Wishes Eileen
Lol I started calling my dreams LSD dreams because they were so weird. But resently sometimes I don't dream at all, which is so great, a much better sleep.
Hi As we focus on more natural remedies and treatment for the perimenopause and menopause we don't do any articles on HRT, sorry. If anyone wishes to try HRT, we advise that they seek proper medical advice from their doctor who will be able to give them the best options for their specific circumstances Best Wishes Eileen
Does anybody wake up in the early morning and just feel so sick. It takes about an hour to “come right” and the feeling of unwell, to wear off. What is the cause ?
This is usually due to imbalanced blood sugar levels. Eating a protein and fibre rich snack before bed can help and keeping something like oat cakes beside your bed to eat as soonas you wake up (Like with pregnancy nausea) this can help. Add cinnamon to your diet, this helps balance blood sugars. Nettles are also great, you can drink nettle tea or try our nettle tincture. Our Molkosan prebiotic drink can help as well. I hope this helps!
I have given up that this stage in peri life that women will get a good night's sleep. Too much going on with our bodies. I have been power napping. I have the vivid dreams. I do love those. Some of my best novel ideas have come from those dreams.

I get to sleep I do have vivid dreams but in black and white so I know it's a dream. But I wake up any time between 3.15am and 6.00am.
Have you got a video on HRT ? What is your opinion 😢
