Really enjoyed our visit Elaine and Congratulations on your beautiful finishes ❤. I can't believe that its already been 2 years since you started flosstube...time really flies when your having fun. Glad the retreat was a success...it looked like so much fun on Teresa's video. The finishing table had so many beautiful pieces on it. Hope you have a awesome week and get some lovely stitching time. Love from JoDee 🥰....and your videos are never too long, and I watch them to the very end. But this time I wasn't working on my Cardinals but working on finishing the border on a blanket im crocheting for my daughter's boss, bye for now
Love the wall-hanging Elaine - and though the bead trim was a pain it looks perfect - jet-type beads have a mourning qualities to them. Your and Teresa’s efforts in organising and running the retreats are so appreciated and it was a pleasure to see you again. Happy Stitchy Easter!
Great video. Love all you finishes and whips. You get so much stitching done. Thanks for the peek at the finish table. Glad you enjoyed yourself. Look forward to your next video.
Hello Elaine, love your Salem finish. What a great time we all had at retreat thanks to you and Teresa. Thank you for the lovely mention and showing everyone’s pieces on the finishing table. My Husband brought me a tablet home from work yesterday to watch Flosstube on ( he doesn’t know I’m building up to doing my own one)as I usually watch on my phone. Got to get rid of a bad cough first though.🙄
Hi 😊 your cheese delivery is really coming together. Was loving the appearance of the new little mouse ❤. Loving the BlackBerry Dragon, I might have to buy the pepper dragon that I’ve had my eye on for years. Your dragon is looking amazing xxxx
Was so good to meet you at the retreat Elaine. I had such a good time. You and Teresa did a fab job. I fell for that chicken pinkeep too. Have a good few weeks.
Hi Elaine, I commented but I have no idea where it has gone and it was my second attempt at commenting! Love your finishes and all of your WIPs are looking fantastic. Pink House Sampler is coming along beautifully! What are we like with that big house and all that grass!! I’m not looking forward to stitching the grass but having said that the house has gone well. Congratulations to Angela for winning the bag. I started following Pauline and was so tempted to buy one of her bags then told myself that I didn’t need anymore! No doubt I will see one that I have to have one day! Glad you had a great time at the retreat. Loved seeing the finishing table. Take care. Happy stitching 😊 ( if you get a comment from me twice please ignore one! ).
Hi Sally, only one comment so who knows where the other one went!! I’m still loving our pink house, for all the fact it’s massive 😊 take care my lovely friend and happy stitching ❤️🪡🪡🧵
Elaine, Salem trials looks absolutely amazing! Such an effective finish. I’m loving the sheep in your pink house sampler- every time I see a stitched sheep I think of you 😂
The Salem Trials came out wonderfully, perfect on that hanger. And now I have to go dig out my 1831 Christmas pattern because yours is lovely! I am in awe of Cheese Delivery. Can't even imagine doing a full coverage piece. I enjoy your long videos, i can stitch away. Happy Stitching!
Hi Elaine, your Salem Trials is a brilliant finish, I love it and it’s given me an idea for one of my finishes. Strawberry fields looks great framed too, I haven’t stitched that one myself but my Daughter has. I do love the design. I think you should bring out Gretta and stitch on Louisa for April WIPGo, you did ask 😂Thank you for the amazing shout out Elaine, I do appreciate it. If you ever have another retreat coming up let me know and I’ll give you a virtual voucher for a bag as a raffle prize . Lovely to see you again, take care. 😊
Thanks so much for watching Pauline. Oh you will have to show your finish that I’ve given you ideas for! We do 2 retreats a year, next one is in September and we always do a raffle for charity, so a voucher would be fantastic!! Take care and happy stitching 🧵🧵🪡🪡
Lots of progress achieved, always love to see all your amazing projects. Always beautiful stitching. I would personally try and work on the ones that are closer to a finish so that they can be completed. But I'm probably saying that because I'm a monogamous stitcher 😊
Fabulous video Elaine 😀. Love the wall hanging. Always enjoy seeing all your progress.Did you hear me shouting when you called the winner of the bag out? Overjoyed! Personally think you should stick with the big red house and get another finish lol😜.It doesn't seem a year ago when you celebrated your first flossaversary. Where did that year go???!!!. Take care, stay safe and happy stitching🤗
So pleased you won the bag Ange ❤ I know you’ve watched me since I started making videos, so 2 years you’ve stuck with me 🥇delighted to see you again at the retreat and I hope you will come next year 🪡🪡🧵🧵
I would personally try and crack on with the one(s) that are closer to a finish so I could get it (them) finished and able to enjoy it. Hope that helps. :)
Hi Elaine! So lovely to see you today in my notifications. Love your finish of the Salem Trials and the trim and backing fabric are outstanding! Congrats on a great finish of Strawberry Fields as well. Love the partial FFO of 1831. The chenille is absolutely perfect for it as well as the backing. Fantastic jobs on all of them! I am now cast free although my hand is still stiff and it apparently has aggravated my carpal tunnel. Really great progress on Blackberry Dragon. His face is looking great and I love the way the moon is coming in. Love Simple Pleasures, so cute! Fantastic progress on Cheese Delivery. I love that the little mouse is coming in, so cute! So glad you met your monthly goal. Aren't those half a stitch errors infuriating? I just had one of those myself but decided not to frog it because it wasn't that important of a piece and it would have meant a whole lot of frogging. I would be pulling my hair out with Mary, Mary's skirt by now. At least you are getting to the point where it will be getting narrower nearly every row now. Lovely to see your spoons sampler come out, so beautiful. Maybe you can get it done in time to hang in your new house! Great progress on your BAPHSAL. Congrats to Angela on getting so lucky for the beautiful project bag! Wow, 2 years on floss tube. Congrats! I am so happy that I have been writing novellas to you for nearly the whole 2 years. I told Zoey of Coco Creates that I was jealous of her being able to see you at the Essex Needle Retreat. I would love to be able to meet you and natter away the hours. Definitely a beautiful piece of purple and pink fabric. I love all of Jan Hicks Lace pieces. I just started The Earth Laughs as my first pattern from Jan but I want to stitch so many more. I absolutely love her new Christmas Alphabet charts. Dancing Mice is adorable. Great news that your eyesight is improving. I have to go see a new optician on Friday and I am sure that at least my bifocal needs to be made stronger. Of course, my sugar affects my eyesight a lot. Love the brag table at the retreat, so many beautifully finished pieces. Happy stitching.
Hi Dawn, thanks for your lovely long chatty message ❤ you know I love a newsy catch up with you!! Hope all went well at the opticians for you!! Take care and happy stitching 🪡🪡🧵🧵
Wow it has become apparent that I need to win lotto and start coming to the UK for retreats - gin and tonic? Say no more!!! For your WIPGO (because it shouldn’t be a chore) can you split the 5 days so you do 2 days on one you love and 3 on one you should be getting work done on so you have something to enjoy as well. Hope you are well, take care - Nic x
Enjoyed catching up with you. Thanks for sharing and Happy Stitching!

OMG look at you with a finished wall hanging - that is amazing - you will have to share with me how you did it. Look how much stitching you got done🤩.
Thanks T 😊 the wall hanging was the easiest finish I’ve done apart from the beaded fringe 😂
Was so good to meet you at the retreat Elaine. I had such a good time. You and Teresa did a fab job. I fell for that chicken pinkeep too. Have a good few weeks.

The same thing happened to me with my eyes! I went to the doctor because I was having a difficult time stitching with glasses on.
Isn’t it strange, I expected as I’ve got older for my eyesight to get worse, I was so surprised!!
I would personally try and crack on with the one(s) that are closer to a finish so I could get it (them) finished and able to enjoy it. Hope that helps. :)
It has helped 😊 thank you 🙏
