Great video! I have spent a lot of time out there on Freds claims and nearby. Ike is quite a character and a great guy! My best half day haul ever was just below where that old trommel sat before the creek destroyed it (three grams in 3 hours). I also dug over an ounce just downstream from where it lies now.
I have 6 claims up near that area I think. Our claims are just south of Rich hill on Weaver Creek. Would you suggest digging in the main wash or on the sides of the wash. Or none of the above. I just can't find rich enough dirt to get excited about. Had a 50 bucket run last spring and only had 0.10 of a gram. Definitely not worth the work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! 10:35 was that a rabbit? have always wanted to try drywashing for gold! anyday you can go home with a bit of gold is a good day! nice work and great vid! and didn't those wood burning hippies know old planking and hand hewn beams from the 1800s can sell for $12-$75 a linear foot!!!
I have been in that area not looking for gold but gems in the wash a while ago and it has a creepy feel and maybe the all the deaths are why 🤷♀️ interesting.

Very cool,last time I was by Stanton I dug a big hole then fell in it twisting my ankle ,but I hobbled into the station in Congress for refreshments 😁
