Apart from domestic violence, forging a document is a crime.Had she not forged the English language test cert, she would have remained here. The bible says do right so that you don't have bad memories

I can never subscribe to that slogan that 'japa ruins marriages'. A dog is a dog anywhere, and location would never stop a dog from barking.

agree wholeheartedly! if a person is gd he is gd no matter where they live! But some people are vindictive and would do anything to pull people down!
Location doesn't break marriage it already had a crack.
Nigerians indeed believe DV (hitting, control, manipulation, gaslighting, emotional abuse, financial abuse) is normal - some mothers who have gone through this also allow their son to do the samething to someone else's child! it's a shame

I met a couple who confessed that relocating to the Uk saved their marriage. The wife said she is surprised how her husband changed for the better and would do all the stuffs he never did whilst in Nigeria. Very proactive in all aspect, house chores, cooking, to looking after the children.
I have had this story, It did happen. IMO both parties were stupid and are just not nice people. They could have parted ways without necessarily destroying what they tried to build. I just pity the children whom would have benefited from the good life here in the Uk.
The ways some ladies behave even at work just makes me wonder if COS in their imagination equates British passport. Anyways, hopefully others will learn that even if they have the right to work and go in and out of the Uk they still stand on one leg.
