- Having previously run a best time of 9.14 at 155mph, Luke's Nissan R31 GTS Skyline is back on the dyno after a few changes. The car is powered by a SEARS Automotive RB30 engine, Garrett turbocharger and Wolf E85 fuel system.

That turbo is the reason why there are so many tornadoes in America at the moment.
***** Ever heard of the Butterfly Effect ?
Music to my ears~
MONSTER! :)
Nice one.
No its a air to air intercooler ive seen this car up close but it for dry ice much colder then normal ice minus 40 or so
This car is straggling for MORE AIR !!!!!!!!!!! Let it breath with a proper FAN !!!!!
Anyone know the name of the song?
Just curious, Why is the external gate mounted off the turbo exhaust housing? If you are using an aftermarket manifold surely the gate could be placed at the collector? Also why is the turbo mounted so high? do they plan to fit a bonnet or not? Don't get me wrong it's a mad car I just can't see the reasoning.
Also just wondering if there is much to gain from using a twin cam head from a RB26 or 25? Obviously this head has had a fair bit of work done but 42 psi for 600rwkw seems like a lot of boost for the power level on this turbo
To control the boost better a common thing now to do
Quick question, what's that small box he put ice into? Some kind of ridiculous inter cooler?
it helps creating even colder temperatures for the intake, how? i dont know how it works but basically it does the cooling more properly
He's likely using a liquid to air intercooler. Putting ice in the reservoir helps keep the temps down longer for the intake charge, which means lower combustion temps and lower risk of detonation. It also means denser air charge that enters the engine.
Its called a charge cooler. Its a air to water cooler rather than air to air intercooler
Probably needs a bigger bine
