This game needs better graphics,it looks like a rc car racing game🤡
You put higher octane fuel in your car, thus meaning more power gain, thus meaning more torque, which means you pulled quicker than he did the first time.
In the game, the 87 fuel, just offers better cooling for the car, according to what the Dev said.
What we learned from Pants gameplay:

We learned that putting coilovers on the front but not the rear is not the strat lol
To me, if you think the car’s handling sucks, you don’t have enough skill to be behind the wheel of that car, I believe you need to bond with the car in order to be worthy enough of sitting in the drivers seat of that car.
Also for those who dont know, in the tunnel rats track, where theo said he doesnt know where to go when picking the two paths, he could of took either one, they both lead to the same check points in the race, thus why you saw arrows signs pointing to both paths at 6:07, and why there was no barriers blocking either path.
Also check the mini map for just in case
Yeah this is a great comment I’ve run through both crews a couple times and I love that race now that I can pick either side
This game is so simple, yet so fun. I love the old school, 90s JDM aesthetic of it as well.
it's crazy to say that I've been watching this guy consistently since I was 13 like almost 5 years ago when heat first came out. turning 18 in a couple of months and still making up time to watch panthaa almost everyday. love u fam

so what i found out in this game is the AI can actually hustle you, you will challenge them to a race and they will seem relatively easy or as if their car doesn't have much horse power and you beat them. only for them to call you back for "double or nothing" and then race with the full power of their engine to try and take double what the betting wage was. I've noticed that frequently their car is SUPER slow in the initial challenge and then in the double or nothing the exact same car all of a sudden just happens to be a lot faster and i have to try harder. the level of detail in this game is insane and i love it

they just go 100% rubber banding mode
@@dvdbox360 initially I thought it was rubber banding too, but eventually I started to realize that it’s much less me flying ahead and them coming out of nowhere like a bat out of hell and much more in the double or nothing these fuckers would not only launch better but pull a lot faster too as if their acceleration has increased and their top speed to. So I’d spend more time chasing them in the race then being ahead
Watching Theo play this game is exactly why content creators should do what makes them happy and what they’re passionate about, I don’t need no fancy edits or anything the pure passion and joy you can clearly see theo experiencing playing this game creates such a connection to the viewer who feels the same. Amazing video and safe to say this possibly going to be one of the greatest car games of all time

Them showing you upgrades actually on the cars, sense of speed, fan overheat from too much NOS or run out of gas, the realism is insane compared to the arcade racers we know today. Imagine this mixed with Unbound.

One of the few Unity games that I actually like, this and CarX games as well as the CSR series are great Unity games tbh.

@BlackPanthaa For those tunnel races, unless the lane is COMPLETELY blocked by red arrow signs you can actually take either side. The GPS will bug making you think you have to go back and you will show as being in 2nd place, but as long as you keep going through each checkpoint to the end, you will actually end up winning... even if it said you were in 2nd when you crossed the line.
got to admit, that freaked me out the first time !!
The fact that this demo is better than most racing games of our time is insane. And yes upgrade and race the final boss. We gotta see what happens after

This dev made his dream game, and it ticks so many boxes that remind me of older games: NfS Underground, TXR and so on :) Very promising even in this Beta demo :)
Good thing this gets so many reviews and free testing now, some stuff needs optimizing.
9:35 Drag races in NfS UG1 where also stupid hard some times, but atleast restarts didnt cost money... The game should make the route more clear. Its not about the game being " too hard" its about showing what to do/ where to go before players loose their minds of something they seemingly have no control over.
And Theo you cannot battle him after the upgrade because Star Tamer needed 5 million at least for the wager or your rep gone down and get rejected too

The developer has been silent about when the demo is supposed to be out to the general public. Last he said it was supposed to be New Year’s Eve/day

That was before all the bug reports started flooding in from the patreon early access demo. He's been releasing patches for the demo every few days now to get it polished before the public gets their hands on it. There is a serious show stopper bug in the demo right now making some people not be able to play the demo at all. So I assume, he wants that fixed before it goes public. First impressions matter. The dev is hoping the patch this weekend fixes that issue. I hope so too. I can't wait for the demo to go public so i can see the reaction.
@@husleman I'm so glad I don't have issues, only ones I had was rear lights not being on and the lack of checkpoints, also after you reset you lose all markers. So it's better to reverse out asap
@@husleman all understandable. I’m just impatient I’ve been keeping watch on this for 2-3 years now. This guy seems to be a rockstar, I’m sure this game is gonna blow most outta the water and he’s gonna set a standard for all the ‘AAA’ studios
Adding gas stations around the map to stop and refill with a little animation would be a nice touch :D
Theo S.K is the hardest boss I belive, once you’ve beat him you should be able to smoke everybody, at least if you will upgrade your handling. And one more thing WE NEED MORE VIDEOS OF THIS MASTERPIECE OF A GAME

A golden advice i always stay behind the npc and when we reach the end i pass him. Also when u have 5 races u don’t wanna restart on the first lose it will cost you, you still have two tries to go. Upgrade ur car first to gain money and customize the appearance later.

Hey it’s doesn’t matter which route you take because they lead to the same point, one is just oncoming traffic and one is without oncoming traffic. This so true for everywhere without a checkpoint and where the way isn’t boarded up with barricades:)

Can we just take a second to dwell* on the fact that this “DEMO” has more content than a majority of games available today.
initially i thought the checkpoint system was a bit off or not intuitive, but further playing the game ive come to enjoy them. i think there is still room for improvement but fundementaly i think the concept of how they work in this game is great. it makes you learn the streets and particular tracks just like how real street racers hone in their areas and know the roads back to front. this is how real street racing legends are born.

You absolutely need to upgrade, put tires to grip and brakes, you don`t need Livisa 200rs on this boss, just maximum upgrade 180, it`s enough to beat this boss

You're entirely right.
Nowadays, AAA racing games are stale, it's still the same crap underneath with a new name and they keeps spinning in circles instead of thinking about more interesting and genius ideas.
No wonder why AAA racing games are too boring.
They were more better and varied in the past due to many racing game licenses with different approaches in order to standout from eachother.
The current ones are either unfinished, overpriced garbage full of unbearable bugs, full games which are actually meant to be massive expansions, keeps following/repeating the same direction instead of bringing novelties to the table or has crappy driving physics that ruins the core gameplay.

I think devs should do crash animation like in NFS Underground, because anyway you definitely losing when hit traffic straight, but at least crashes will feel actually dangerous and realistic

I remember, my S.K. Was washed as hell. I pushed him into the the borders three times and he crashed three times so I could just go on gear three all the way( no I just had no money for fuel, so I didn’t want to lose all of my fuel since, I betted 0 yen with him actually )

Beat the skyline and add all possible gauges to the car
Upgrade cause skyline is fast at start Theo trust me it's tricky to fight this main boss of G-Company and battle him not in tunnel rats cause that car are AWD more grip dan speed so not very good for RWD car like 180/200RS
And be careful taking corners, after the upgrade you cannot battle him cause you need 5 million yen at least to battle him or your rep will go down and to restart race needed more like 1 million yen for 1 reset so be careful battling him fr
