    What a fascinating instrument. You play it perfect. The sounds almost sound like they wouldn't come from an organ

    So appreciate this Roger! You are part of the inspiration for my 6 year old son in his first year of piano lessons!

    Thank you very much for sharing, Roger. Altough having visited London since the release of Interstellar, a visit to Temple Church is still on the list. Hopefully soon! I do have the LP recording, best medicine thinkable 😃

    Thank you Mr Sayer. I think everyone will say that you are playing with your heart, not just with your fingers. It will be wonderful to hear your performance of "No time for caution" (Docking scene), it will be just extraordinary. Wish you the best, greatings from Poland :)

    I am in love with this soundtrack, even making me want to learn how to play. You could do "No time for caution" too, it's my favorite song in the entire movie. Great video!

    Hi Roger, delighted you are now on TH-cam sharing your organ mastery!! Liked and subscribed :D Interstellar is in my top 5 film scores, one of the reasons being the composition and inclusion of this instrument which is one of the most technical instruments and depth of sounds ever built! Thank you for sharing this piece from the film score, can I be so bold as to request you play Stay, No Time for Caution or my personal favorite Murph? The sound of peace until you get the full magnificence depth of sound from the organ chords is just amazing!! P.S. do you know if there was ever an arrangement for any sections of Interstellar for the accordion?

    Lovely playing as always Roger! May I ask what the little sticks that you are putting in each end of the keys do? Do they just wedge a key to play continously?

    • @RogerSayerOrganist
      @RogerSayerOrganist  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Yes, they do. There are quite a few places in the original score which say "+ pencil"!
