This tiller was probably made by Gilson Brothers. I have seen them branded for Monkey Ward and others. The one I bought at an estate sale was branded for Ford.

Very helpful video. Was planning to change the points kit that I had floating around for years, after having my Sear mulcher/chipper machine fail to start on me, yesterday. Well, pulled the flywheel only to find it has no points! And the coil looks like the one you held up as being an electronic magneto assembly.
One question: The wire that is on the primary side of the coil looks to be maybe a ground to short out the coil for killing spark when you're done? Mine has had some insulation that came off and maybe grounded to the cylinder head or the crankcase?
