This works well with olive oil or vegetable oil too which is much cheaper. i made 2 oil candles with 5 wicks in each. Put under a cut section of cast iron gutter upside down which acts as a soot catcher just incase then dissipates the heat front and back of the gutter. Im curently using this as heat source in living room which with -4 degrees Celsius outside its doing a great job as its 19 degrees in here.

Could you show how long using 4 0z of biofuel would last using your method of a carbon felt wick? I think capilliaries are generally smaller than hypodermic needles but, I could be wrong because those diabetic ones are really thin. You could try it with water or something to see if you got that wicking effect.
Hello 👋 I have a question, please. Do these carbon fiber wicks put off any carbon fumes when they burn? Just curious. Thanks for your help. These would be amazing to use. I love this idea. I wanted to let you know I'm using the 20x20 box fan air filter you shared with us, however, I may go to the 3 or 4 bgears fans instead because I think it's a lot quieter. I bought the bilge pump to make the shower with the trash can, foot switch and pvc pipe. That was too cool. I just told my brother I needed to come up with a shower for grid down situations and then I saw your video right after that 😅. I'm going to use the trash can to flip the lid over and collect rain water then use your set up to take a shower. I have also adopted your water filter and the chimney boot for heat. You've really been a great help 🥰. Thank you for sharing your brainstorms.

How long does the ethanol blend last in the small, medium, or large? Did any of the 3 sizes burn all night long or all day long?
Other than the advantage of not having to change out the wick, what is the advantage of using Carb felt wicks? Thanks!
Works with Crisco too once it gets hot enough. Probably cheaper than ethanol.
