Rhee in a Presley fanbook explains that he gave Presley a 7th dan because Presley told him the number had a special significance to him - I'd say the 50k and cadillacs were special to Rhee!!
I have seen those quotes and I have seen the cert Parker gae him for his apparent 7th Dan - it 's marked 'Honourary' which means it wasn't graded for .. Elvis did get a Black off an army guy which he did in 6 weeks - seeing as how it takes 4- 5 years to properly get one - you figure it out.
But why in my opinion Elvis is truly a proven to be a Grand-Masters of Martial art is tht how he use his understanding of karate into a new medium to expressing it by performing it, audience can see tht its not a pretentious moves for the sake of performing gimmick, but sincerely an entertainer loves to entertain ppl by expressing it honestly.It will stick and evolved into to the minds and souls of ppl throughout century of history.

How we communicate to others, how practitioner gives a positive vibes and pushing the limits of producing the best greatness in any field tht we do, and most of all how we all put this value to others and achieves in their own greatness.
