Andreeva is currently the youngest player in the WTA top 100 rankings ! doing exceptionally well for her age.
I was questioning that call at the end too because it looked like the ball was in…nonetheless I think Andreeva is chipping away for someone is only 16. She is headed in the right direction. Her time will come when she can play more tournaments on the tour and when she does everyone better watch out because she will be dangerous!
It looked clearly in, from my perspective, but it just didn't matter.

Mirra's shot placement is far too predictable... looked far too comfortable than it should have for Anhelina to win against her but alas!
Andreeva might yet turn out to be another much hyped teenager that frizzles out when she's a bit older just like the Fruhvirtová sisters. Until they win a major like Emma then the jury is still out on all of them.
Mirra has improved her emotional control a bit, at that age still a way to go, but she'll get there. Why were the spectators booing at the end of the match?

@@vbw4501 Coco hasnt been doing well this season, i am watching the match against Marta who has been on court for almost 8 and Coco hasnt put her away yet. Even winning the US Open, Coco's best level is nowhere near Iga or Sabalenka, granted they are older but she just seems so helpless against them since she is so defensive

This overhyped teenager shown her place.With her lack of power, she should thank her lucky stars that she has progressed this far.
She’s 16 years old and already ranked 39th best female tennis player in the world by the WTA on her own merit. Nobody gives away these rankings, you either deserve them or not based on points. So, I don’t know wtf are you talking Mirra being “overhyped” and diminishing her as a tennis player. She’s deservedly hyped and a promising prospect. For a tennis player her age, being ranked that high, it’s extremely rare. Not only because of her age per se, which already entails disadvantages in terms of body mass and strength, but because at that age players are not allowed to play in most tournaments and thus don’t have the same opportunity as other players to score points and escalate the ranking ladder, let alone the opportunity to gain experience and polish technical skills as periodically as other players have.
@@googoogooman Leylah Fernandez burst on the scene at the same age and look where she has gone .Just with slices, you can go to a certain extent, not more in today's tennis.
Mirra is gonna be fun to watch coming up. She's getting frustrated and from that is gonna come big growth.
