    Short answer:
BA - need MORE domain knowledge & soft skills (user reqs, project mgmt)
DA - MORE technical skills (Excel, PBI, SQL, maybe Python) and work with domain knowledge expert, just in case.
BOTH - curiosity, problem solving (ask right questions, logical thinking, ...), and continuous learning.
BEST OF BOTH - ENJOY WHAT YOU DO

I’ll add that a step into a data field job is huge. I took a data analyst position with a bank when I had little skills 1 year ago making 50k. I just accepted a new position at a different bank as a model risk analyst (will be using lots of the same skills, analyzing, testing, visualizations, etc) making 85k paid hourly, full time work from home. My Fiancé is works at a Tech Company as a Project Analyst in PMO (Another type of BA): 85k starting, after 1yr - 100K, 2yr -110K, 3rd - 120K, 4yr - 140K. There were some title promotions and other COMPs given to her.

thanks for this overview. There is a lot of confusion around these roles, and I (a BA) often get requests that I have to pass on to the DA and vice versa.
As a BA, I often use DA skills to analyse requirements, and a good DA needs to borrow heavily from the BA toolkit when helping a client understand their requirements for a dashboard or report, so there is a lot of overlap.

Currently taking the course as well. Honestly I’ve seen a lot of internship/apprenticeship opportunities BUT they all require you to have background knowledge (which I think is what this course is about). Since you’re a hands on person I would look up some internships and instead of applying online reach out to them first, maybe by phone or email and sell yourself to them and see if they’ll take a chance on you. The worse you can hear is no and you just move on to the next possible internship opportunity.
I saw opportunities on Handshake and Indeed. Hope this helps 😊

So in most companies a business analyst and business analytics are diffrent. Since the BA fills in a role thats between the stakeholder and engineering team its good to understand software development in general. But some main skills will be requirement gathering , breaking requirements into user stories (agile development lifecycle), technical documentation, sprint planning, ect. Some companies may request you to also do data analytics but that depends.

Hey bro, this is your best performing video, and it's not hard to see why.
As a relatively smaller tuber, you should aim to cater for wide ranges of audiences and be less niche.
How? By making videos which appeal to job seekers instead of job keepers, students instead of professionals, career planning instead of career advice, etc. (Hope I'm making sense)
Basically, do more videos like this where you help people choose a good career for themselves instead of focusing on people who already have a career, that comes later.
    Much love.
