Hey brother! Around $600 . Thanks for the support. On the last minute I requested change my order for another model in the same leathee. You guys will love it. I can't say no more. 😃. Still thinking to place 'another' LTT order 😳
I was struggling between LTT and Americanas… I think this video convinced me that LTT will be my choice. Love watching all your boots patina and keep posting updates so we can watch the progression!!!
Thanks a lot brother for the comment. The LTT is a great pattern for sure. I love it and don't have too many pressure points like the whites LTT. This pair is very comfortable and enjoying a lot regular work . You can't go wrong with any model. One suggestion I can do is if your first pair go with the Americana my man. I do the comparison because I have all the patterns and want to feel a LTT by Nick's but if was my first I will go with the standard. This LTT can be tricky if you damage the uppers. If you have more boots I will say GO and ORDER!!! Why you taking so long? 😁 It's a small advice brother but at the end take what's better for you! A big hug and hope to see you again here
@@jonathanplum4449 the standard model stitching is on the arch vertical level or middle of the boot. There is where the counter heel, upper and vamp meet, so the most common factor is damaging the vamp and heel so there is not high risk to damage the upper cut. The LTT check the stitching and the upper meet the bottom/vamp in a risky area, the "ball foot"! It's more common to damage the ball area since is exposed to more wearing and of course abrasion. If the upper get damaged there is no way you can rebuild. How common is to damage the ball area? If you do construction, hard work, heavy duty activities. If you do casual , light work and office it's practical cero chances to damaged that area. Just a fact so you can contemplate. The pattern have pros and cons. Like any other pattern boot. I love the comfort and lock that brings the LTT. In general. I love it 💪🏻
@@MIIIB thank you… Everything you said makes sense!!! I have boots for work, these will be used for casual outdoor activities… Americana maybe to fancy for me, but I do love them with waxed flesh!!!
@@MIIIB Lace to toe, brown waxed flesh, antique hardware, rolled top, natural edge, vibram 430 mini lug… Thanks for the video, it’s all I need to see!!! 👊
Thanks for the great content. I just got my first pair of Nick’s and they were honestly pretty comfortable out of the box I was surprised. No real hot spots and fairly roomy in the toe. Can’t wait to get them broken in. How long does it usually take you to get them fully broken in?
Full broken 100% may take around 4-5 months. I'm talking about midsole form, shaft, vamp, instep and eyelets space. You can break them around 70/80% first month but will take more time to mokd the bed insole, midsole and complete shaft. No joking, I can warranty you that is going to happen. If you use them 5 days a week. I suggest you to use Paracord the first month then change to leather or keep the Paracord. That will help the leather to strech/break and mold better your feet.
I have a pair of Moto Hooligan Travelers - HNW last, and a pair of falcons - also HNW last. Both pairs, I put on and went for a walk of several miles the second day, no problems. Considered them broken in from there. I think it is the work boot 8oz leather and the high arch lasts that take significant time to break in.
Manny which do you find more comfortable: LTT or standard (I'm asking because I know you have a lot of 8" standard Nicks boots with a soft toe and this is your only LTT from Nicks). You say the LTT is heavier, did you weigh the boot and did you compare the weight with a standard 6" weight and with a standard 8" weight? What is the weight differences? Thank you for making all your videos! You are a well of information when it comes to Nicks boots.
I havent compared both 6 vs 8 weights but if feels a bit heavier the LTT 6" vs a Falcon 6", which I believed the patterns make the difference. The most comfortable is the normal pattern with soft toe , a gem to wear really nice on vamp and flex without a problem, the LTT is very nice but the vamp is harder to flex because holds more in the front as well so the pattern force to move more leather. That whybI said is a lock feeling, for those looking better holding. The normal pattern gives a lot of mobility and comfort
Thanks for the reply Manny! You've helped me make my decision ... I was oscillating between the overlander 8" and the LTT 8" both in Dublin natural for a hicking boot but your experience convinced me that the overlander is a better choice.
Good question! Even the oiled leathers need protection, if light raining they are good. If heavy raining and humid environments you will need grease. Some people beeswax smooths but I don't like to that in smooth, only rough out since the flesh side had a lot of fibers and hold a lot of wax/ grease/oil. I gave just one oil coat and they being doing amazing. Already put them to test in a few plumbing services. I noticed the difference in protection since the oil. They come more water repellent. I being thinking to give them obenauf's grease and hot air to penetration. Maybe 2-3 light coats. Better than only 1 heavy that leave residues everywhere.
The original kilties came the rectangle ones. I took them off and bought those with the skirt. I cut a bit on sides to let the First eyelets bend completely. Maybe you can appreciate better in my Instagram pics @Manny3bri Anyways I always cut them from the bottom at the edge of the eyelets. I don't like the bending. Each person have different likes but those are mines. Greetings bro!✌🏻
Two years ago 3-4 months. Today standard time is 4-6 months. I have a few orders from Kreosote and Roleclub that will take 2 years so PNW times looks easy. Nicks have a 2 months program and some in stock. Bakers too.
Can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to seeing those 1964 full RO LTTs… these boots are gorgeous

This video sold me on Nicks 6" LTT on lower heel. I was skeptical at first but will probably order a pair.
Same situation here. I'm glad I got them, and one more too. Thanks for the support 🙏🏻

Little by little brother. One step at a time.
