Got a 97 prelude whole cars getting a revamp and a turbo been looking for some decent turbos and this video helped me out quite a bit so thanks man!

It’s a custom kit.
Just subbed ! About how much boost can these motor handle ?
Thanks man! And mine is fully built top to bottom so it can handle around 800hp. But a stock motor, I probably wouldn’t push over 300-350hp.

No it’s a stock block! Closed deck. And you definitely should!
@@chris__whipsokay awesome. I have a semi built prelude. Scat rods, type s pistons skunk2 valve train but stock retainers and stock bearings

It’s a fully built JDM H22A
Are all h22a engines closed deck?
No not all, usually the jdm H22a, and the H22a1 are closed deck. I have heard of random H22a4s being closed deck, but a majority of them are open deck.
@@chris__whips I have a JDM 97 5th gen sir prelude with a h22a surely this is closed deck?
@@hserieshooligan1997 the OBD-1 version of all H22A's are closed deck, so if its a 96 or under it should have a closed deck. Yours is a 97, which is OBD-2, so no it is open deck.

Hi Shane, exhaust inlet (Turbo Manifold) flange is T3 Flange.
@@MaXpeedingRods what is the brand and where can I get one? My current turbo manifold is very old and has been re welded many times.
@@shaneeld9187 the manifold is from OBX racing, but it started cracking after only 3 days of use so I don’t recommend it unless you plan on reinforcing it by welding extra tabs for strength.
