The problem is that your ends will be always split cause the hair dresser will never be able to cut exactly into the past layers she did before. I have been trying to grow that mess out for 2 years now. The split ends drive me nuts

This is so helpful…. my husband surprised me with an air wrap this week, and after experimenting on myself and my daughters I was ready to return it. I have thick coarse, curly hair, my daughter has curtain bangs, and my oldest daughters has very long wavy hair. For $600 I was expecting perfection right out of the box, but after doing some research I found that there is a serious learning curve. This video was the most helpful so far. Thank you!

HELP> dyson vs. revlong. pls help guys. i have thick, coarse, 3b curly hair that ive been straihgten for a while: flat iron 2 years, revlon for a year. i have so much heat damage despite usong the revlong for the past year along with hair oiling and hair masks weekly. so many split ends and so much breakage. i assume the revlon is better than the titanium flat iron i used earlier, and its wayy faster too. but... it is causing damage, so i bought the dyson. pls help me. idk if i should return it. actually, my mom bought it for me bc im a kid. but idk if its worth it. i tried the round brush attachment once and here is my verdict: my roots are wayyyy flatter than from the revlong bc of the smaller barrel. used less time than the revlon.
**someone whose used both can u tell me if the dyson is heat damaging? or if youve only used the dyson on curly hair, have u noticed heat damage???? pls help me. ill feel rly guilty if i waste my mom's money. it's ONLY worth it to me if the round brush dyson is less HEAT DAMAGING than the revlon. i like using the curling barells, but that's not why i bought it.

Amazing! Your natural hair looks a lot like mine so this is really useful. Most people I see making these videos have barely any hair so it’s done in 10 minutes. I’d love an air wrap but wasn’t sure it was worth the money but I hate blow drying my hair so think this would be a good alternative

Thankyou!!! You have hair so very similar to mine. (Curly, long and can look frizzy or crazy when it air drys). I have to apply a styling tool for it to look nice. I loved the way your hair looked!!
    2 questions....
    1. Why did you apply the brush first? Would the air wrap have worked as well, looked as smooth, and shiny if you would have just held it longer? Instead of using the brush first?
    2. I like very low maintenance hair styles. I used to put moose in my hair after a shower and then let it air dry. My hair would do great and my curls would look awesome.
However my moose has been discontinued....can you recommend a leave in gel/moose styling product that you put it while wet and then air dry??

I've heard from many girls, that using a good mouse before styling. And then putting the curls into hair Rollers for as long as you can should make them last for a few good days. Also, finishing with a strong hold(but flexible) hair spray helps the style last much longer

Thank you so much! So I didn't dampen it again because of the fact I know it would frizz up and not stay smooth. I used it on completely dry hair! I will say though that now I use the thinner air wrap attachment and my curls stay longer!

Thank you! Love to know your products. How long is the process? I just bought the Airwrap, my first try was not a success. I have think, curly, long hair. Your video is very helpful! Hoping it works for me.

I‘m wondering why you used this specific brush attachment to straighten your hair and not the more firmer one. As far as I understand the firmer brush attachment is for more thicker hair type like yours. Did you try it out? How did your hair come out in comparison to the flexible one?

So it was one of my first times using it and I wasn't aware of the difference in both of the attachments!! I'm gonna be doing an updated tutorial on how I use it now, it's changed a bit!

Love your hair!! Did your curls last long after styling? I have the dyson air wrap as well but my curls fell out so quick :(

Thank you! So they did fall a bit BUT they still had the volume and a flip. I will say that since this video I've been using the thinner airwrap barrel and my curls stay so much longer!!

What was the last product you used on your hair? I believe it was an oil. Also what hair spray do you use if any? Thanks so much for your video I have super thick and coarse hair also and it was nice to hear the Dyson worked on hair similar to mine.

Rusk w8tless 200w hair dryer. All you need is a paddle brush and a round blow out brush with some hot metal. It used to take an hour to dry/straighten but now it takes 15 minutes!!!!! $80. Just an alternative. It gets extremely hot and will burn you 😅

I like this a lot! But its pretty much the same result i can get with just curling with a thin hair straightener!

Exactly. I would only get it if it worked much faster than all the other hair gadgets. My hair looks exactly like hers and if I have to spend so much time on taming tiny sections with all those different attachments then it’s not worth of 600$ for me. I have dyson vacuum because it not only vacuums extremely well, but it does it in half a time of a regular vacuum. This is what I expect from the dyson airwrap as well.

Does your hair get stuck in the round brush attachment? That always happens to mine when I use other hot air brush combs.

I think the trick is to only wrap around your hair once and not wrap it up around and around and around. I made the same mistake...
