I have the Dyson Airwarp, after finally deciding to splurge on it for my bday. I have the Revlon Styler, which everyone and their mom has, but I kept burning myself with the hotspots it creates on your hair. I would literally see the hair breakage and damage as it was happening! So I thought the Airwrap would be a better replacement because it uses less heat and it never goes over 300 degrees and for reference I had the Dyson Hairdryer so I knew that when they say it creates less damage and dries hair in less time, it is true. I'm still in that learning curve with the Airwrap. I must say I look forward to hair wash day because I cant wait to play with the Airwrap. I would say that for me, it is worth the money because in 30 minutes I either have straight, shiny hair with volume or soft waves that are bouncy, or tight curls that are not crunchy and I see no damage. I loooove it!
@@Paulina-yv7go for me they last until my next wash. The curls/waves are intense at first but loosen up over the days and end up looking beautiful. I dont use hairspray but I bet if I did they would stay curlier.
@siân diann I do still use it but less frequently. Part of that is my hair is so much healthier now, I can simply air dry it. I think thats thanks to the dyson and frequent hair cuts. Whenever I want my hair to look more polished or create curls and waves I still use it. I would still recommend it
@@dinaquintanilla8728 thank you for your reply. For me the curls stay for a day only😳 can you give me some tips what you do that your curls stay longer? What products do you use? How wet you hair is when you curl it with Dyson? Do you use small sections of the hair when curling? Thank you
I love how you clean your ears while reviewing this and how you hold the hair with your lips while styling it. I don’t care about the product, but you‘re adorable! Thumbs up!
i LOVE it.. I Had alopecia from stress (awful) and all the straightening was making what hair i did have left ...super damaged. So my mum brought me the air wrap as a birthday gift as its less damaging for the hair. OBSESSED, its so easy to use and now i have healthy, thick, long styled hair. Its actually amazing.
I don’t use the pre dryer attachment.. i use the brush attachment when my hair is damp.. so it dries and brushes through at the same time and saves even more time while curling with the wands.
I use the Dyson Air wrap and my feelings are the following: I couldn’t care less if you were paid by Dyson or not for this vid;-) (I saw the speculation below) I LOVE this machine!!! I will never go back to blow drying my hair the traditional way. For some of you who were wondering, the dryer attachment does NOT replace the Dyson blow-dryer which is much more powerful; it is just to get your hair to be less damp before styling. Thanks for the great Vid👍👏
My teenage daughters have thick long hair and I use the hairdryer too lol to dry it with a barrel brush and it’s just like using my incredibly powerful Parlux dryer but way less damaging.
Thank s so much for clarifying! I've spent the last hour trying to figure out if it was the same as the blow dryer or not!! So do you recommend having both..?
I highly recommend using conditioner in the shower if your hair is dry. Also, I noticed you apply the products first in your roots. I recommend focusing it in your ends.
I watched so many videos before buying it and was still confused when I actually started using it. You have shared the best way possible and I am sure I will be able to use it in better way now . Thank you
I loved the video and I want to offer a bit of advice, after 50 years I have learned a thing or 2 about hair and my hair started thinning like crazy and what I eventually figured out was that the build up of conditioners was making my hair weak and breaking it off. I have super super thick, naturally curly hair and so I would have to blow dry it, and then use a straightener and it would take hours. I finally stopped using conditioner, completely, and I NEVER thought I could do that but it has SAVED my hair. I just very carefully comb it from the bottom up and then blow dry it straight, completely eliminating the need for the straightener. My hair now is so much healthier and it is back to being super thick . I now want to get rid of using the heat from my dryer which is why I am here at your site. I would just advise you to try the no conditioner for a week, and see if you feel the difference. My hair was shinier and less frizzy and once it's dried you SEE and feel the difference. The other thing I did before getting rid of the conditioner was I used a cheap detergent (yes, laundry detergent) to wash my hair and that stripped away years of conditioner, that's how I knew I should stop using it. And for someone like you with already really thin hair, I just think you will be amazed at how much thicker you're hair will be after even just a few months. I went from using a million products on my hair to literally just using shampoo. I see so many women with thinning hair and it really is these conditioners that your hair doesn't need and especially with this tool, just try it and you'll see immediately that your hair is shinier and less frizzy.
@@Soraya4U It seems crazy but once you blow your hair out you'll see how much softer and shinier it is and you just won't need any products. Good luck. I hope you find it as effective as I have. I really think all of these products are using similar ingredients that are just bad for our hair.
Screw the haters you absolutely killed this video. You're real and the end result convinced me im not Crazy wanting to spend that kind of money on myself. I can only hope to end up with hair looking as amazing as yours. Absolutely sold by none other than you💚💙🖤
My Husband bought it for my last Christmas as a surprise! Best present ever! Its so quick and easy which is fantastic, especially being a working Mum! Great video 👍
I’m husband just gave me the air wrap as an early Mother’s Day gift and I am in love. Still getting the hang of it but so far the best tool I have ever owned. You make it look very easy to use as well, I loved the end result
I think the air wrap will work really well for thicker/more coarser hair like yours. I think so many people who do reviews of it have that thin perfectly smooth hair already so they don’t see a benefit in the air wrap but those of us who have to slave away with a normal blow drier on the reg will see the most difference. I can’t wait to order mine!
I have the airwrap AND the Dyson air purifier - and the purifier goes mental when I use my airwrap with product in my hair; I suspect it’s because the airwrap heats up the product. I have been only using Aveda Damage Remedy as a heat protector, and on days where I want my curls to hold well, I use more product. My style lasts about 3-4 days. I only have to use the airwrap twice a week for 20 mins each time! A total life changer.
Brilliant video. I’ve had mine 6 months and learnt its tricks within the first few days. Amazing curler and dryer. The only thing I’m not keen on so don’t use is the big flat brush.
I ordered both the blow dryer and the airwrap at the same time. the blow dryer is great. and then I tried the airwrap and it does take some getting used to when you first start to use it. my hair is over two and a half feet, 30 plus inches long, so trying to wrap it is alittle harder . and my hair does not hold a curl at all. im a natural blonde and since im older now, its more reddish. just a note on the video...…...…..I always use a pic or pix when my hair is wet as you don't want to break you hair with a brush. its better and easier I find. I also use products where I only wash my hair once a week and youd never know. my hair is never ever greasy and is always ok no matter what. I use tweak-d, nick Chavez, m asam, and these work well for long hair. xo ps......…..I sent the blow dryer back. ...…………….....
Wow, you look great, love your highlights and the curls look better than at the salon, and without spending hundreds while maintaining volume at the top! I'm going to have to try the airwrap, maybe I can get rid of the curling iron, blowdryer and 2 flat irons I own and get better results.
Oh God... thank youuuu. You literally taught me the biggest discovery of this dryer... there are 2 sides of the barrels. Makes so much sense eee and o.g now I can have gorgeous hair like youuuuu 😍😍😍

Hey, loved the video. Changed my life too! I don't know if you know this but you can purchase longer barrels for hair over 15cm from the Dyson website, I think that will allow you to style larger sections.
I so wish this worked for me. I’m constantly looking for a product that will put loose curls (or any curl!) in my hair. I’ve tried rollers, tongs and this. The curls dropped out before I even finished styling one side of my hair!
I have it too but I just cannot get it to give me the big curls and volume 😭 my hair is really fine and straight and also long so I feel like I would never be able to get the same effect, but I will keep trying. Your hair looks amazing!

Why is it every time I curl my hair and brush it out it just ends up like a big fluffy mess? It does not look like I got a blow out at all not even a little bit
Hi! I have the US version of Dyson hairdryer, and can't use it anymore since I moved to Europe :-( very sad about it! Do you guys have same experience?
I had the same issue with a humidifier, so I bought like an adapter ( input : 220 V / 240V output : 110V / 120 V) the output may depend on what country you are in. But yup, so I connect the machine to that and connect the adapter to my outlet and it works 👍 😃
Wow, you look stunning! I have really thick course hair that is so hard to style. Is that the same as your hair as if so I am very tempted to get this? I just wish you could get a free trial for 7 days in case you don't get on with it as it's so much money
I found out I was getting this for Christmas surprisingly after I mentioned before to my BF that I couldn't justify the price as I am a college student and don't make a ton of money. I was so scared from many of the reviews that my BF just wasted his money (so many youtubers were hating on it) and you gave me the reassurance I needed. I am still scared about the price, but it seems so worth it over time. Anyone have any opinions on it?
How long is it gonna last ? Ive seen people that say there’s is broken after a few months, unless you get 10 years out of it it’s not really worth the price, $800AU
she really knows how to use this thing and the style suits her so well it's actually better than VS models hair!
aw thank you so much!!!

I had the same issue with a humidifier, so I bought like an adapter ( input : 220 V / 240V output : 110V / 120 V) the output
may depend on what country you are in.
Thanks a lot for the demo!
Excellent comments and advices
Thanks Adrienne
I have a Dyson airwrap too didn’t know how to properly use it tell I watched her video it’s amazing
Dead... you’re attitude is too funny and you look gorgeous !
Do the products work on thick - curly hair ?
Could you please tell me what products used before styling ❤️❤️
Hiiii from Egypt 🌹
easy to use , but unfortunately my hair is too sleek and curls do not stay even if I put styling foam , tried nearly dry hair , wet , no luck
How long is it gonna last ? Ive seen people that say there’s is broken after a few months, unless you get 10 years out of it it’s not really worth the price, $800AU
I always thought I’m being weird for putting my hair in my mouth while ironing, curling etc. It feels great to see somebody else doing it too 😁
I thought and do the exact same thing 👏🏻 xx
I do have is and I’m so sad( my curls don’t stay, while I do second side, first one is straight. I tried everything ((((
