Trust me, it won't, the 14500's will destroy the driver in seconds. Also, he states 2 x AA cells won't work in the light. Again, bad information, they will work. I'm putting it here because he always deletes messages when people put him right in his comment section.
I've received mine today, I'm happy with its performance. I've compared with the nitecore mt2a pro that I've gifted to my wife. The acebeam one is more complete, it has a moonlight mode and you can get strobe too. I only don't like that we are forced to get it in blue color to have this specific emitter and that we have to change grip to operate between the output level, but the stand by mode kinda fix that last thing if you put the light on it when you start using it. It's a decent thrower for the head size, slightly better than mt2a pro with a more defined hotspot at range, and it is decently bright too. More or less on the same intensity of the nitecore flashlight. The acebeam is a bit brighter when on turbo, and then quite similar to the mt2a pro high level when it gradually stepdown. I like it as a backup aa batteries light I've got a positive first impression.
6:10 it realy seems not loses much from brightness on turbo with ace battery; i dont have instruments to measure jsut luking on wall the spot; i test 3 min burning 10 min pause to cool [i dont dare to let for 5 min coz even at 3 min is hot af the head [the handle/tube not jsut warmy]
Like I needed another lite but sure enough I just got this one off amazon for only $27 American. Something like my 4th lite in 2 weeks. 7 in 2 months. One of those lites being the Acebeam W35 😁
I love how the Sofirn Sp10V3 makes it into nearly every video! I like mine with the magnetic tail cap. Goes great in my Victorinox 4 layer pouch along with my Spartan SAK. My TAC AA seems to have more candela probably due to the larger head but it's still more pocketable so I don't quite get this 2AA version and I don't really like pen style lights as I found out with the Olight i3t Plus and i5t Plus. They seem to be just unnecessarily long. The 80m to the bottom of the field shot is always the best part of the review to see how a light performs.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV That's a shame. What was their problem? My shitty obsessive seagull feeding crazed neighbour tried to take me to court for trying out my lights in my own garden because I complained about all the seagull crap but I got a letter from the Public Prosecution Service saying there was not enough evidence even though she was filming me in my garden, so F that beeatch. I now go either to a local bog or a nearby country lane that is pitch black at 6pm nowanights , so in a way she did me a favour to get me to go out more to better test areas but still an awful neighbour from hell. I expect some-one will probably complain about me in the lane if I do it to often or shine a light at farm houses or something but it is great for trying out throwers over the farmland and last night my TAC AA battery emptied after not very long so maybe the 2AA would have been better. I had a couple other torches along to try out anyhow but the TAC AA was good for a compact light apart from it seeming to be only really any use on it's highest setting though maybe the battery needed a top up and it has an annoying distracting outer ring.

@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV No it's just dogs doing their guarding territory and the pack, their owners. They do it to me as well and I love muts and cats to an extent but I wish they would not all use my garden as the community loo. I'm almost tempted to get one of those 2AA in 25sft. I'd like to see how it directly compares with the original TAC AA though this info doesn't seem to exist which is strange. I like that E1 14500 thrower also but better if it was 18650. I think the original TAC AA should have been an 18650 and they need to sort that Jupiter beam ring some and then I'm definitely buying that. Something in between my Sofirn IF22a and TAC AA. Would probably be my first choice if I was in the market for this type of light.
