Hey I'd just like to say thanks for sharing this... I don't live near the shore, I only go to the ocean a few times a year, and it's hard to figure out how to catch flounder!! The last couple years I have had success from piers just like this, but I can't really find any videos like this... so thanks for sharing a video that really shows how to get it done without a fancy fishing kayak or boat!
Thank you for the kind words! There's so much great fishing that can be done from the shore or piers, but they definitely get glossed over for boat trips. I really want to show people that they can have a great time catching fish without having to worry so much about expenses. Thanks for watching!
Angel Espinosa, the size of the hook should match your bait. I don't use huge baits for flounder, so a number 2 hook is generally what I use. However, if you use large shrimp or finger mullet, you will need to up your hook size. Thanks for watching!

Chad The Walrus Thank you!
Amazing video! I caught my first flounder today using this strategy! He was small, but there were quite a few there.
That's so awesome to hear! Thanks for watching, and congrats on the flounder!
The Catfish Channel no problem man!
Keep up the vids!
dueschlander Will do!
Hello, what size hook do you recommend for flounder
