Great video man, alot of useful stuff here. I got the XBox edition nova pro's and I'm having the same issue as a lot of folks with not being able to use the Mic in games like Warzone. Everything else works good just can't talk to people?

I have this headset, and the main problem I have, is I have no laptop or computer yet to use the software. They should add an option for gamers not utilizing a computer but just a console.

oh so get the ps version then huh how do i set this up too my elgato wave 3 line in from the dock i am American i know it is not dack its dock . and setup with wave link app ? for me i use the pc and ps5 more than my series x but i use my elgato 4k 60 pro and elgato wave 3 with the wave link software so . it be hard too setup it i hear it doable
Hey, Great Video, I also bought the Nova Pro Wireless and am using it with the GoXLR on a single PC setup. But I have an echo in my voice during mic monitoring. As if I heard my voice twice a bit. I only use the Shure SM7B Mic not the Headset Mic, the Headset Mic is mute/off. Is that normal? Do you also have the problem or a solution for it?
Ye the best way to change it is either change side toneing to low on the headset and you can untick mic monitoring on the table in the Goxlr. If you also really, really want to hear your shureSM7B microphone bc who wouldn't just go into settings go into audio preferences in sound and more options and you know how the set by default audio outputs there is. Go onto chat mic in the recording tap or on the first page and go into its advanced options and there should be a drop down menu that allows you to select the headphones that you are using and then click monitoring instead of monitoring in the goxlr tab.
If there's more comments that come up like this I'll make sure to do something about it
I tried these but they were really uncomfortable so I ended up returning them. I never had issue with comfort on the original Arctis Pro Wireless. The sound was great though, Just wish they were more comfortable.
Ye I also wish that for more confert but I'm waiting for them to make Gel cushions as the Gel cushions have always been that extra bit bigger on the headphones bur ye you shouldn't have to buy earcups from a separate company just to feel convertible so I understand that. But I'm getting ust to the ear strain but it's not that bad for me, but everyone has different ears. Techne said that the edge of the drivers hurted his ears the edges aren't hutting mine but yes I notice something with them
I hope you still enjoy audio quality equipment and whatever you have or get you still enjoy what you have and what's comfortable
Can you set up these without a pc. I just want to use them for the xbox one. The audio works just not the mic. Can someone help? It's my first time messing with these
Can you advise as to how I can raise the party chat volume without lowering the game volume? I cannot seem to raise one without lowering the other.
Yeah, that's always how it is, but you can go Into the system settings and go to audio and go onto party priority and within that there's usually a increase or decrease In party volume percentage lowerd by 50% by default but you want to go and set that too off so it doesn't lower the party volume as of sound for both game and volume I would set the dile in the middle if your just using the headset on its own if you want to have it where you hear the game louder and the teammates you can then have that system sound louder and one isn't prioritised
How did u get Xbox as an audio setting? I followed ur directions went to USB output on the dack and I only get the option of USB1 or USB 2. Did I not receive the Xbox version? Or am I doing something wrong?? The headset works I can hear the beeping when I select or change things on dac. I can hear Bluetooth music or TH-cam. I just can’t hear anything on the Xbox. No sound, no chat, nothing.
Which version do you have Xbox or PlayStation?
The xbox Verison usually says there is Xbox and USB did you get the headset in the green box

Yes, that's what the video is about but if you plan on getting the Xbox Version get an xbox or plan on getting the An Xbox Later get the Xbox Version
@@2EpicGaming ok I have another question that requires a little bit of a set up beforehand, and also may be slightly confusing. I’ve been playing cod on pc with my friends who are still all on ps5 only and don’t use discord. Is it possible for me to hear the game audio from my pc while simultaneously connecting to my phone via Bluetooth and hearing/speaking into the psn party chat through the app on the phone?
@JustRaf568 Yes, you can have both up at the same time just know though when using an app from your Phone to Unmute the Microphone on your Wireless Headphones as when it's in Bluetooth mode and is in a call it takes priority of the Microphone From the Headset as well Pairing in Bluetooth is as simple as Holding the Button down clicking on the source on your phone for Bluetooth and search for new Devices. I used mine for Talking to people on Messenger on my phone Before

The Headset mic on the wired version sounds better but the wireless version with the mic sounds normal for regular voice use i'd just mess with the mic volume option on the box as it picks up all the background noise if you have it all the way at 10 i've got mine around 6

You can use the Xbox one with ps5… I have it and works for pc and ps5 and Xbox
so do you have both consoles, have you connected the device from the PC and the PS5 at the same time and the box it's diagramed that you can only use one of them one at a time, If you are deliberately imitating something that I said in the video, it would be good to see if you made a version of it with a video
I do not have a PS5 So I would not have been able to add that within the video of a comparison
The way it works, one input is for Xbox only and the other is just labeled as USB, you can plug in ps5 or pc in the usb input but the Xbox one is ONLY for Xbox, right now I’m switching between ps5 and pc in the usb input. It’s just a matter of moving the cable to the appropriate console/pc
@@mrblue1825 that was my point with talking about the PS5 Version and the XBOX Version yes it's fine if you have both consoles and want to move the cable in your scenario
@@2EpicGaming The PC can use the Xbox USB port. Your SteelSeries audio will show up as "Xbox Wireless Controller" as an audio option. You can plug to both the PS5 and the Xbox at the same time with the Xbox version.
Just to confirm: I have it plugged into both my Xbox series X and my PS5. If you want to use it for your PS5 and your PC at the same time, use the Xbox USB-C slot to plug into your PC. So it is justified to get the Xbox version if you want to use it with all consoles and a PC.

@@hp1799 yeah, if you want a nicer sounding headset that goes really well at footsteps go for the wired version, if your a person who utilises having Bluetooth and taking your headset out and about in public go for the wireless version, yes there both good versions and there is no difference between the PS5 version or the Xbox version. Just get the xbox version if you are ever going to utilise xbox, weather that would be drivers on computer or on an xbox that you'd get later. Then you don't buy 2 different versions

you should also tell people to not buy it if they playing on playstation or xbox since the sonar program only works on pc and console players are paying full price for half the product and steelseries wont update anyone about if consoles will get sonar or not smh almost 400 bucks great for pc but not for console so * WARNING * don't let these youtubers trick you lol
For the main point if you have the device working with the line out it works as a full single transmitter and the you don't need to have the aux output using anything and turn the line out to streamer mode and change aux to 0% but keep main at 100% so then you can hear the console
Also yes you are right that the sonar software isn't made for console but you can use the settings as long as its setup for console and the PC
If I can hear the sound in the sonar software when I'm on console at the same time with the goxlr it should still affectively work even if you don't have a goxlr
Just skip to the diagrams and also the points in the timeliness that you really need
Yes this also could have been explained more with that it doesn't directly keep the same settings automatically but if you have connected the device to the pc with the usb and a headphone jack into the computers line in or headphone jack you should be able to hear the sound from the console and computer at the same time if you change the USB input to the console instead of being on PC mode on the beginning input page
It makes no logical sense for us Console players to have to have a PC on at all times for us to fully take advantage of the SonarSoftware. They need fo make a software for console soon. Otherwise this headset shouldve just been exclusive to PC
Only issue I have is the mics background noise and I can’t adjust the mic settings unless I have a PC / laptop 🤦🏽♂️
@@zayy_hd7573 Yeah, I always end up using my Normal Mic Rather than the one in the headset but you are right that there needs to be a console version of the software hopefully if there is a collaboration with steelseries and consoles
