Excellent recipe. I have made the mistake of heating the oil up too much in the past and overcooked my fish. Keeping the heat on medium is such a simple and important tip along with the flour in the oil to make the fish crispy. Thank you so much!
I have spent a tatal of two years in your beautiful Country. Love the country the food and the very friendly people. I always enjoy true Thai food including this delicious fish.
My all time favorite dish to have is Fried Fish. The fish looks so fresh- So good hearing the sound while frying it- it means a delicious meal it'll be serve soon. Wow the sauce you made is absolutely delicious - I will eat 4 cups of rice for this dish you made. Great job Nin as always.
My mom is from Thailand and since I started my own family I haven’t had her home cooked meals in a long time so now I’m trying to figure out how she does it! Thank you!
That’s a great tip Nin! I took a cooking class in Chiang Mai, and cooked at a restaurant down in Phuket and they didn’t teach me to flour in the oil, but it makes sense. I will use this technique next time! Looks amazing!
Thanks for the recipe, it looks delicious! I always make fried fish here in Hawaii but wanted to try it with some new flare! Good cooking and good video.. mahalo!
Hi Nin 🙋🏻♀️ I love fish and you fried it to perfection...looks yummy with the chili sauce 😋😋🐟👌🏼👌🏼 Thank you so much for another delicious recipe. 😋😊😊❤️❤️
Excellent Vlog. I love Thai Food and fish is my favourite. Good tip to put flour in the oil before frying I like this idea a lot. Can you use any lemon tree leaves or only particular one.?
Eu sou um grande apreciador de comida Thailandesa , como por exemplo , o arroz no ananás , caril de carangueijo e tantos outros , mas sempre bem regado com cerveja bem fresca para apagar os incêndios ! 😂
I once bought red tilapia and for the life of me never heard of red tilapia and my daughter said she has heard of it wow, I ended up throwing it away and now am seeing a video of it here just wow wow 😮

Thank you for this recipe, I love your instructions. I made this today and the only thing I added was green apple to the sauce, it was delicious!! I love Thai cuisine ❤
Yes indeed. I am still trying to enhance the quality of the audio because this kitchen makes a lot of echo. And as we just moved in here, I didn't have the time yet to do what I want to reduce it (i.e put foam on the walls), so I'm trying to make it as good as possible in post-prod as you noticed. But this is not my strongest skill, to work audio in post-prod... looks like I still have a lot to learn😅

I am sorry, but I changed from thumbs up to a thumbs down, because of all the sugar you used. Thai food, or any food, dont need that amount of sugar. It is only bad for people and make the dependent on it, fat and give diabetes.
Hello Jonas, It is fine. But if 2 tablespoons of sugar are too much for your health, put it less or use stevia extract instead (It's good for a diabetic) or any kind of sugar that you prefer. Well, I kind of disagree that you said Thai food doesn't need that amount of sugar. I think it depends on the recipe you've learned, also your personal preference. Anyway, you can always adjust the taste by your health issue and by your liking, right?
