I've had good luck with SW 4350 in my 7 Rem Mag. SW Clean Shot has been my go to pistol powder for 9mm, 40 S&W, and 44 Special.

Hornady 165gr SST might be good.

I have given Rem core lokt factory ammo in multiple rifles a fare shake and generally it's among the most inaccurate factory ammo I've ever tried, right up there with the cheap Winchester stuff. Now and then you find a LOT that shoots pretty decent in 1 or 2 rifles.

Worst factory ammo I've seen was Remington 35 Whelen. Pie plate size groups at 100 yds and case head separations on the first reloading. Shoulder must have been so short the cartridge was rattling around in the chamber. I have a few cases left from that batch. I neck size them and seat CCI Shot Capsuls, which are lower pressure.

I’ve used 165 core lokt factory ammo for the past couple deer seasons and they’ve done well for me. Would be interested to see you work up a load with the gold dots though

Problem with Gold Dot is availability and price. Speer and all manufacturers associated with Vista Outdoors/ Kinetic Group, have less than zero interest in even trying to come close to meeting market demands, while simultaneously raising prices regularly. So there's not much point in working up loads with their stuff, because they might do another limited run in 5 or 10 years, or maybe never. If it's the best bullet or powder or whatever to ever be invented, but you can't get it with some level of reliability, then it's useless.

try, H4350, 55.3 GRNS, COL 3.220 WITH YOUR 168 BT, AROUND 2800 FPS. OR bring your SW upto 2800 - 2850 FPS.

What's your barrel length bud? Those velocities are a little slow, even for published load data.

@alabamareloader huh, that's odd, maybe you just have a "slow" barrel. Or the bullets were a little under sized, or the bore is slightly oversized. That's definitely strange with a 22".

That's been the results for me with shooters world powders great stuff when ya put in the work in development, but they seem pretty conservative with their data in my experience
