I remember Max Payne 1 and 2 those games released to us. I was 8 years old and played this game about this cop who lost his baby and wife through his job being a good cop.(Love you Remedy) I always imagined a quote from Max Payne: "even the gun I pulled out and shot couldn't replace the bullet holes that were left inside of myself after killing the worst possible guy I could" Max Payne was a sufferer from PTSD, Depression and I know people weren't a big fan of Max Payne 3 but to me, it exacerbated mental health and made Max Payne become more relatable, realistic within my own personal life and not a fucking comic on a piece of paper. I adore The fans of 1 and 2 but Rockstar Games hit me fucking hard with Max Payne 3 like a bad punch to the kidney, such a blow unexpectedly and so methodical. "It's exactly what the doctor ordered." A fictional character who I relate to more than the real people. Here's to you Max, Cheers.

They definitely understood the type of story they wanted to tell and it was interesting and I loved the ending and that Max got a happy ending but considering Dan Houser didn't seem to completely understand the fundamentals of Max Payne enough he kinda did a sloppy job at the execution. Still a good game and story but the story is no where near as good in terms of writing like the previous games imo

Idk if anyone will ever see this, but a few weeks ago I was watching videos about old rockstar games and at the time the only r* game I’ve played was GTA 5 & Midnight Club LA then I saw videos about GTA 4 so I found my old ps3 and bought it and have been playing it non stop for the past 2 months, but I also saw Max Payne 3 videos as well. Particularly this video made me think “damn, this game looks so cool” and today I bought it for the ps3 and I’m about to play it for the first time ever

top dog...........brutal, a hell of a story, great characters to love and hate with a passion, music, sound fx, fantastic, the scenery a feast for the eyes all the small details. an all-round explosive action film like madness and chaotic confusion, superb, just wish they'd make another as good as this............. still waiting, must have played this since its first release, more times than I can count or remember......... on occasion I still replay this game, still awesome........

Payne is the modern day Arthur.
