Cornwall is a d bag, don’t get me wrong. But when Dutch pulls two revolvers on that unarmed d bag and sends him floating into the Louisiana Bay? Arthur came out of hiding with a much more timely but still emotive “wtf are we doing here”. Because of its new placement, it now is very close to the gator execution by Dutch on yet another unarmed d bag. None are an old woman, but combined we can see where the wind is blowing in Arthur’s perception. This game proves what video games with a story should be: Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the best story games because it turns the main character into you by letting you choose what you do in the story, other games make you into the main character by just letting you do what they would have done in their place. Red Dead Redemption 2 guides you to follow the canon story but you choose if you do that or not, it makes you actually feel like the character, which is needed to make a perfect story game.
Kind of choppy and awkward transitions every so often, and a lot of weird day/night cycles, but I can't help but be impressed that you even took the time and effort to put this together. I'm just here to experience this incredible story again. So thank you for your videos!

Seeing people mention this or that thing they wish was included - makes me wonder if this could be edited well as a show - If you could encapsulate it into some decent mini arcs for episodes and such. I wish there was some sort of camera mod, where you could play out the game, and then go back and replay the movements smile controlling the camera.
I don't think it would be possible to turn this into a movie or a show. There's too much and it'll seem like 99% of it was lost. The characters, the interactions, the dialogue, the missions.... No way. Let's just enjoy the game... over and over and over again. I'm on my 3rd playthrough and taking my time. I've been in Chapter 2 since October. Couldn't progress because of Downes but found a way to skip it and other missions opened up. But now... my only option is Downes again. I'll just ride a bit more and collect more money. Almost at $20,000 just finding treasures, roaming, and killing bounty hunters. Might be my first low honor game.

I just noticed @56.52 that one of the Pinkerton's agents (Ross) resembles Dutch. Been so long I forgot most of this. Only resembles him and mostly his eyes and hair color as his nose is bigger. I'm still enjoying watching it even if parts are missing. Thanks for uploading. It had to have been a lot of work.
Just a suggestion not meant to be seen as criticism but I feel you could fit in much more key story beats that you felt had to be cut for time like riding sequences and other dialogue by making into more of a lonesome dove style episodic movies with the chapters being their own episode instead of cramming this massive story into a small runtime
@@notgonnaknowtillthen3192 They never said they had to include EVERYTHING, all they said was to include more gang dialogue. Atleast in the first chapters, you cutting around everywhere. One minute arthur is in camp, the next minute hes buying a horse, then not even 12 seconds later hes in a bar beating people up.
@@Wumbonington Exactly. Not just that but key moments in the story were left on the cutting room floor. The money lending mission where Arthur beats Downes and subsequently exposes himself to TB is missing, as is the part where Dutch turns his back on Arthur when he’s about to be killed by the army at the oil fields. The conversation between Arthur and John about Dutch maybe being this way the whole time after they blow Bacchus bridge isn’t there either. Those are pivotal moments in the story and they’re just *gone.* This is less of a ‘seamless movie’ and more just a collection of cutscenes from the game.
Same. It’s a story that I know my dad would love and would resonate with him. I’ve been trying to share it with him, but he refuses to spend time on video games, despite the fact that he’s a huge buff for action/adventure movies. Hoping he gives the movie version a chance
Good edit for a summary of the story. But I would consider leaving Guarma in because it shows Dutch’s decline and I think it’s a interesting segment in the story.
Everyone saying Cant wait for the next fnaf movie! or the bendy movie but my biggest wish is either a series or movie of a adaptation of Red dead redemption!
So on my 3rd playthrough of this game back in 2021, I was going through some personal issues, and had to cut myself from my friends because I needed time to figure my life out, and just cut contact even though people would be upset, I just needed time to think. I went though this game again, and reminded myself why selflessness will always be in my heart. I'm nothing like arthur, but Roger Clark really pulled at my fucking heart strings the ways he played Arthur. The whole Downe's family Arc broke me, even after playing it many times, there are some things you cant undo even though you mean well. I know to a lot of people it may just be "another game", but Red Dead 2 is more or less of a life lesson for me, than just a good story. And for someone like me, my father was never good, and i shelled myself from ever being like him. You are not your father, be a better man than he could ever be. Learn from your mistakes, and take your promises to the grave. Even if you don't live to see your good doings, just try to put some good back into the world
I feel like cutting out Hosea’s death was a major L but I understand it wouldn’t have worked with it leading to guarma. If you ever made an extended version with Guarma in it I would defo watch. And if you made RDR1 a movie. I’m sitting watching it with my family

@@hellomimibanana It's like FIveM (GTA 5's first original counterpart for creating, browsing and joining custom/RP player run servers) except it isn't as maintained as well, is vastly less popular and unfortunately it seems like the only active servers are super serious lightly populated RP communities that have steep requirements like time commitments and voice auditions. Really wish there were more "fun" less serious active servers to play around in, FiveM has plenty of those though.
What are you doing here? 😂
The final horse ride is what got me my first playthrough. I just broke
Always bro it’s where I start tearing up before Arthur’s death, I always tell myself Ight not crying this time( my 3rd PT) get a little choked up on Arthur’s final ride with that’s the way it is playing on high honor then the horse scene my eyes get watery cause the horse that died was BUELL😭 I admit I like how you can save him for John after but man just completing the quest with Arthur felt so much more satisfying and right like out of all the negative in Arthur’s life at that point Hamish brought out some light and gave Arthur some peace away from the madness. Then I’m just pretty much crying a river with the final interaction with John “you’re my brother”
@EternalNightingale please learn what full stops are 😂
i wish you included arthur’s talk with john after the bridge mission, but this is a great video thank you !
I was watching ur previous upload of this yesterday when I read ur comment on how u were gonna release an extended cut and I’m glad I chose to wait cas this is just fab
the final goofbye of the nun would be perfect in this
“I’m afraid” 😢
That re release came so quick! Great work!
21:31 - I find it interesting that not even once do they mention eating one of the horses. I know Arthur is joking about eating Persson, but still. I like to think this is because of how valued the horses are, both as an asset and as induviduals.
Arthur loves horses so I’d imagine to him it’s like eating a person. You just don’t do it.
Dutch in a nutshell: I GOT A PLAN, WE NEED MONEY, TAHITI.
WE MAKE A LOT OF NOISE, A LOT OF MONEY, AND WE GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE. FAITH, GENTLEMEN. FAITH.
ONE LAST BIG SCORE!
MR PEARSON, MRS GREMSHAW
I'd be nice if people weren't still saying this as if it hasn't been said a million times for the past 4 years. Where's originality gone?
@@YodatheHobbit erm.. that's not a line in the game..
Kind of choppy and awkward transitions every so often, and a lot of weird day/night cycles, but I can't help but be impressed that you even took the time and effort to put this together. I'm just here to experience this incredible story again. So thank you for your videos!
I’ve been wanting my mother to see this beautiful game and the beautiful storyline with it and now I’m so happy that I could give her this chance because she does not want to sit there for 24 hours to watch me play the game 😂❤thank you for what you do
This is bringing back memories of watching lonesome dove with me dad.
One of the best games ever played ❤
I've always dreamed of this idea and never knew how i could execute this, you my sir have made a masterpiece in editing, i couldn't even imagine how painful the organization to this was, the amount of time you'd have to put into this i imagine would have taken atleast a few weeks of solid grind, thank you my good sir
This is absolutely incredible, I hope you continue. So many great games with awesome stories
All things considered this is really well done and im enjoying it thoroughly :)
Dude, this is a masterpiece, no jokes, this could really be a movie
@@guillemre This made my day! Thank you for that
that biggining scene on the black board, that music sounds like somethin' outta the last of us
Arthur and Joel are the same person in different universes
This is awesome, to the people who haven't played rdr2, they might think these are real people (probably not but still) you did a good job.
exactly the sort of thing ive been thinking of
Seeing people mention this or that thing they wish was included - makes me wonder if this could be edited well as a show -
If you could encapsulate it into some decent mini arcs for episodes and such.
Nooo, tv producers always seem to fuck up game adaptations. Rdr2 is perfect as is.
They‘d ruin it
I fell asleep and woke up half way through this I watched until finishes ❤️
god bless u for this I cannot play video games but Ive been so interested in this one
Aw man, the Jimmy Brooks scene hits different. That was good.
Those endings. Always fucken makes me cry man. I can not get over how much a masterpiece this game is.
What a great story u pot together I was in tears n some parts ty my friend
One of the best games ever made I still finding things in the game just a absolute masterpiece and work of art not one day feeling the same alot of work went in too making this game for sure better than the first one I think it ever gets old this video will find it more fans for sure good idea probs too you pal the sean mission I did not know that if you wait after killing the bounty hunters the rest of them will come and pick up all the dead body's just lose the heat and go back there is so much things in the game you can easy miss what time of day it is plays a big part watching it and not playing it you hear a lot more than you did before for some reason the graphics in this game are next level as well lets see how long they hold up too other games out there you have cut a lot of mission dialog out and on mission back story could be better it's a long game you could of added a bit of action hear and there not just the cut scene I get why you did it this way you can get Micah out two ways as well witch I did not know about I always pulled the bars of when you can get a key as well it's the little things that make a great game
I've been thinking of ways to share the RDR2 story with my mom ever since she had a head injury this is a wonderful way thank you!
This comment really meant a lot, thank you for sharing and blessings to your Mom! This edit was the way my Mom and I were able to enjoy the story together after her throat cancer diagnosis and I made it for her and me. It means a lot that someone else can enjoy it in the same way
I haven't seen the beginning of the game for ages. Now I feel like maybe trying to start a new game but I don't want to lose my current game.
Arthur to his dying horse: “Thank you”
Me: 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Especially when it’s buell :(
The horse revive sitting in the inventory😂@@EternalNightingale
Arthur waving from the rooftop right before they hang Colm is always so satisfying.
I’ve looked through so many RDR2 “Movies” but there are all either to long or edited down to much. But this one, perfectly edited! Great Video well done!
Too much was cut from this and I don't mean Guarma. This is perfect as it is and you ruined it.
This makes me want to replay it ❤️
Just a suggestion not meant to be seen as criticism but I feel you could fit in much more key story beats that you felt had to be cut for time like riding sequences and other dialogue by making into more of a lonesome dove style episodic movies with the chapters being their own episode instead of cramming this massive story into a small runtime
so an entire playthrough with no commentary? thats already on youtube buddy...
That's not what he suggested and you're being condescending and rude@@notgonnaknowtillthen3192
Those are pivotal moments in the story and they’re just *gone.*
This is less of a ‘seamless movie’ and more just a collection of cutscenes from the game.
I was hoping someone would make a “movie edit” one day…….Great job bro! The editing was perfect.
Sometime soon i will cut it like episodes (chapter per ep), translate subtitles and show it to my father
Same. It’s a story that I know my dad would love and would resonate with him. I’ve been trying to share it with him, but he refuses to spend time on video games, despite the fact that he’s a huge buff for action/adventure movies. Hoping he gives the movie version a chance
100% they need to experience this game in some capacity
A flippin masterpiece
Good edit for a summary of the story. But I would consider leaving Guarma in because it shows Dutch’s decline and I think it’s a interesting segment in the story.
Such an amazing badass story .
Everyone saying Cant wait for the next fnaf movie! or the bendy movie but my biggest wish is either a series or movie of a adaptation of Red dead redemption!
Watching 4 hours RDR2 cinematic movie, why not!
Even if you don't live to see your good doings, just try to put some good back into the world
Absolutely fantastic job 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻
I see the seams, but thank you. I have been looking for a version I could show my mom as a film.
1:23:16 "Man has a passion for justice" Cut to horse dumping in closeup.
Serious Rockstar moment.
I feel like cutting out Hosea’s death was a major L but I understand it wouldn’t have worked with it leading to guarma. If you ever made an extended version with Guarma in it I would defo watch. And if you made RDR1 a movie. I’m sitting watching it with my family
Hosea's death is definitely in this, during the bank robbery. And the video I posted right after this one is RDR1 with RDR2's epilogue as a movie!
@@BrittonFilmmakerohhhh sorry man, I made this comment at the time when Arthur and Dutch and Micah met up at annesburg and I must have just assumed your cut it. Sorry man
i mean we are speaking about the best game ever created! w Rockstar Games
Holy Shi....i guess i must have slept to this , i never clicked on this video. Im at the scene where arthur breaks john out of prison lol
1:07:45 The greatest cutscenes in video game history.
This movie is great!! I hope this gets a game adaptation.
2:03:46 is such a masterpiece
This is a great little video compilation, I just wish the full gun fights were included, would've added to the story a small bit and padded out the runtime.
THIS VIDEO DOES NOT SHOW THE MISSION “My Last Boy” WHICH IS INTEGRAL TO THE STORY! PAUSE AT 3:25:52 AND WATCH ANOTHER VIDEO THAT SHOWS THAT MISSION AND THEN COME BACK!!!
Can we all appreciate the foreshadowing of fishing..agent Ross says “enjoy your fishing kid..while you can…” the. Jack kills him while he’s fishing. This game is absolutely gold storytelling. If they could make steaming series starting from red dead revolver all the way to red dead 2, with the no politicly correctness, no bullshit, and the realness of the violence and historical accuracy these games have shown.. that’s what the people want.
Best game.
Great work buddy
43:15 "you're a great man Arthur Morgan"
🎉this was amazing really enjoyed it Im wondering how long it took you loved that keep up the good work
This is so awesome!! Thank you
If I were to describe Dutch in one word it would be "gullible."
Finally I can enjoy the story without having to spend 50 hours on it 😀
first! waiting for the 4k upload next
I just started making a movie like this without knowing it already existed and now dont know what to do😢 but this is great nonetheless
Im halfway done too 😔
I once made a full playthrough using cattleman, no hud, and it was some hardcore henry shit to pull off.
(It took me 7 months.)
I still don’t know if Dutch actually cared for his gang or pretended too
may I, stand unshaken
amid, amidst a clash of worlds
prime example of why games beat movies
Great content!
A the last of us video would be awesome
Amazing work. Do you have it with movie-like subtitles, to download?
I think I might show this to my Dad.
Seeing so many iconic names on the Credits like Lazlow being the Audio Director, worries me of Rockstar going forward for these folks carried the franchise since day 1 and left due to politics.
hey congrats your channel is blowing up now. You should do Halo
Thanks! Here’s my Halo edit: th-cam.com/video/mvQ3D9wBwO0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=dxL1oZwHu1ZnOggw
I’m a big fan of it how it came out, those Halo 2 Anniversary cutscenes are unbelievable
@58:55 Arthur was about to take care of the Entire Gangs trouble away but once he realizes his company his demeanor reveals who he really is
3:44:39 had me screaming i love her😭
Micah Bell showing early his quality. Not even 10 minutes in.
You did a great job
Underrated
It's a Ridley Scott 4 hours long directors cut.
Woke up to it playing, never played redemption, watched maybe 1 min of the video, no idea why im even commenting.
All things considered, it’s a good way to experience a great western without committing to a long video game! Hilarious you decided to comment though. Hope you slept well at least 🤣
I fall asleep on youtube playlists and autoplay all the time
Lol, thank you tho!
This actually looks just like the GTA 6 trailer
Lennnnnny, Lennnnny, Lennnnny funniest scene was cut out when Arthur and Lenny got drunk together.
