Been watching since 1k, love how far this channel has come, especially with your quality content and (hopeful influx) of Stanz fans, this could be huge. Well deserved, Skootie.
This is like the tenth video that I'm watching on this channel alone where the "Leisurly Eating" and "Carrot Soup" combo is the run killer. Developers should really look at fixing the chance of these two coming up together... :/
Not that it would’ve mattered because of leisurely eating, but instead of that bottom right display stand they could’ve put a coffee table which would’ve been super close to tables
My comment is a little late but your math is right IF the probability was 97.2%. But its actually 98.66% for 1 customer and 97.35% for 2. If it's 2 customers then roughly 1 in 53443 for 3 non-salad orders. I think people in chat where getting confused cause everyone was using different starting probabilities. (I didn't round while calculating but did when writing here)
Having purely coffee is the easiest thing ever, all it takes it two steps at the same station. The only problem is that it doesn't have any upgrades to make the coffee itself or anything.
That's crazy some how you had reached over and grabbed a cup from the coffee machine lol. But also you were putting way to many cutlery down I think like 3/4 went into trash. Great vid as always loved the team up can't wait for the next one
only two cutlery actually went in the trash. So long as they didn't stay for another course the cutlery would set up for the next customer while they were still finishing their food lol
So, as far as the math on rolling an "incorrect" salad goes, you're almost there, but it's not 97.2% * 97.2% * 97.2%, since those are the odds of rolling the "correct" salad three times in a row. Rather, the odds of getting an "incorrect" salad three times in a row would be 2.8% * 2.8% * 2.8%, which roughly equals 0.0022% or 1 in 50,000
for the display stand lettuce. move the whole thing, left and up one. then put a grabber and frozen prep (tomato) so you always have 4 at the start of the day. be so much faster at the start :)
you can also just use freezers and grabbers and remember to premade them at the end of each day... or you can also automate that with platers and mixers...
its hard to do the display stand alone since you need to prepare dishes unless you have frozen prep so i might try auto display but it needs a bigger restaurant.
It's not 0.972^3 as GnG said that would decrease it, you need to work out the probability of it not happening rather than the probability of it happening ie (1-0.972)^3 which is 0.0000220 you 1-P again and you get 0.9999889 or about 1 in a thousand
They are incorrect about how seating works. As long as there is open space on just ONE surface of the table, they will sit. So since they had three tables they could have just had coffee running through since one table would still be open.
@@kane2742 In that series he has the buff that lets customers sit on tables that have stuff on (Casual buff). idk if coffee blocks or not but dirty plates block even if they're not on the part the people sit on
@@dm2oo56 You're referencing the dirty dishes, however we're talking about items placed on the dining tables. Any item a player themselves sets on a table will only disrupt that particular space. So as long as the table has another space, dining will not be interrupted by placed items.

The way the multiplication works is (1-0.972)^3= 2.2•10^-5 or roughly 1 in 45600 to order something other than salad three times in a row.

Coffee tables are bait, you need throughput, not capacity, and the walking time from coffee tables is worse than leisurely eating
are display stand forced to be in the same room as the table ?
Yes
Yeah
The customers have to actually see the display stand so yeah, it needs to be in the room they order in.
