Oh my! I love Freak for the Beak pattern! It doesn't match my decor, I don't care, it would still go on my wall for sure! I would hang it next to my door, for sure! I love birds! Every time I leave the house and come back in, I'd see that and smile big! I happen to have a pair of binoculars just to bird watch! The temps here where I live are starting to cool off, the birds seem more active, so I've really been using them to watch! I am after an owl, I learned on ?Google! The other night a siren seemed to go off, but it wasn't the entire siren, the end of it was missing, so I searched online and found out it's a type of owl! I want to see that bird! Lol! I will! Eventually! I enjoy your videos very much! I love how you tell us about the SAL's! Thank you! Also, thank you for making these videos!

So happy to see y’all again! The model stitch you bought of the rose - I don’t know the pattern, but it looks like it’s modeled off of artwork by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, a Scottish architect and artist from the late-1800s/early-1900s. Love his style! Very art nouveau, and not at all freak-ish. 🤭

You two are so much fun! Erinn I have the same problem with Nurge hoops. I've tried everything and can't get them tight enough. I use Morgan Hoops for that reason. The softer the fabric, the harder it is to get the Nurge taught.

I stitched it on a light blue aida and my skeleton doesn't show up very well, but I"m fine with that because I also feel like I'm disappearing in the summer! And that Freak for the Beak - oh my - Freaks Unite! Oh that stained glass Rose is definitely a Charles Rennie MacKintosh inspired design. Maybe google his name and cross stitch - he was an artist from Scotland. I had a quick look but found lots of things but not that specific one.

I’ve been stitching the monthly patterns from the black needle society on Riveria Linen and it is known in my household as the horrible crunchy linen!
