I think I have PTSD seeing your Mario finish. My son asked me to stitch a Mario over 20 years ago that was much much smaller and I never did because I was intimidated by all the block stitching and size. I could probably do it today, but now he is almost 34 and has forgotten all about it. And wow… your own designs Flowers and Great White Christmas… really good! Erinn… I love your finish of Aminita… the red mushroom. I must have spelled it correctly because the emoji fir it popped up🍄 I am so impressed with how many really wonderful finishes you have when you have not been stitching very long. Thank you so much! I (Amity) have only designed a few things, but it was so much fun! The ornament were designed using Adobe Illustrator because I didn't know charting software existed at the time. The other two patterns were done in MacStitch. Erinn just showed me a free program the other day called FlossCross that you can use to design too! I might experiment with that!
Oh my goodness, Amity, I have a screenshot of your Death by Cross Stitch finish on my phone which I’m using as inspiration for my stitch! I’m using 6 colors instead of 5, but I love your distribution of light vs dark, so I knew I wanted to do the same. It’s so neat that I now “know” the stitcher. I want to go pull it out of the WIP pile to work on…thanks for the inspiration!

Thank you so much! I (Amity) have only designed a few things, but it was so much fun! The ornament were designed using Adobe Illustrator because I didn't know charting software existed at the time. The other two patterns were done in MacStitch. Erinn just showed me a free program the other day called FlossCross that you can use to design too! I might experiment with that!

Oh my goodness, Amity, I have a screenshot of your Death by Cross Stitch finish on my phone which I’m using as inspiration for my stitch! I’m using 6 colors instead of 5, but I love your distribution of light vs dark, so I knew I wanted to do the same. It’s so neat that I now “know” the stitcher. I want to go pull it out of the WIP pile to work on…thanks for the inspiration!

Please don’t be self-conscious on your designs because they are gorgeous. I would buy “MY flowers” I think it’s beautiful. And that vice … clever! And Erinn, I just resonate with your journey so much. I’ve been stitching on and off for so long but just dove into the deep end these past 4 months or so.
