So it's kinda like a pair of panties when it's finished. I think I might need one with velcro fastenings for my dog. He needs something to cover his stitches after surgery, and I began looking for doggy diaper videos on TH-cam. Yours was the first one I came across. I don't think he's gonna let me pull one up over those stitches.🙂
@@alyssahargrove5527 I did make him four of these, and we used them until the stitches healed. We lost him a couple of months ago, and we miss him so much. He was 13 years old, and got really sick in September.
I took her waist measurement & halfed it that way the pattern could be placed on the fold of the fabric. Then took the other measurements for her legs & tail hole placement & added it to the pattern paper.
@@alyssahargrove5527 other than paper for my crafts, I have never sewn anything. As much as I understand about the waste measurement I haven't got a clue how you got the pattern you have there. 😔 I'm desperate for making a diaper for my dog because his stay here depends on it. I wish you showed how you put it on paper steps by step. It might seem obvious for those who have sewn for years, but for me this explanation is like reading hieroglyphs 😔💜 thank you for trying though. I appreciate it 💜
You left the main part transferring measurements on paper then on cloth

He would need a belly band & you could definitely use velcro 😊

@@theREmissionary I'm so sorry to hear that. It's always hard losing apart of your family.

@@StandUpForChildrenToday you can also purchase patterns on Etsy if that would be easier for you
@@dixxienormuuss3262 I don't have a printer and I'm really not that desperate for these diapers. I figured it out myself, but thank you 😊💜
Lost in time reusable doggie diaper
Visuals arent clear enough. Your camera needs to be over your work not aside of it.
I am just starting out this is the only angle I can manage at this moment
