Bektashism is a deviant sect. The only true way is the Qur’an and the Sunnah, upon the understanding of the Salaf as Salih (the pious predecessors which the Prophet ﷺ spoke about in an authentic and famous hadith), as they were upon the best (purest) understanding and implementation of Islam.
@@muslimalbanian Salafis are sell outs to colonial powers look how Salafi scholars of Saudi Arabia have ruined it & ruined the Middle East , Bektashis led the armies of the Islamic caliphate & protected the Ummah , without Bektashis we all would have been conquered & forced to convert to Christianity like what happened to the natives of the Americas & Norway .
We must bow down to our creator only & not to dead graves. Monotheism was & is message of every prophet from Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus(Eisa) & Mohammad(peace be upon them all). Worship One creator & not the creation.
I would say its another variation of arab alawism & very different from Shiism . arab alawism like Bektashis believe in reincarnation & the near deification of Imam Ali as well as the other sufi elements .

We , Albanians put above everything our nation. Majority of us are not religious. By my name I have to be Muslim, but I get really very hungry and offended if someone tells me that I’m a Muslim . I never been in a mosque . I finished studies for history and I now very well how the Muslim religion was forced to Albanians. This doesn’t mean that I have anything against to anyone that is a believer. Freedom is the most important thing in the life.
In reality when Ali pashe tepelena was betrayed by the other Muslim Albanians Ali pasha felt disappointed but above all betrayed so he began to burn them all, obviously Ali pasha was a visionary man who understood that THE HERO NOMINATED BY THE VATICAN GJERGJ KASTRIOTI SKENDERBEG was a religious political move , consequently he didn't even trust the Christian Albanians so he decided to convert all his BEKTASHI soldiers. In fact, Ali Pasha's head is in Türkiye, this makes us understand that Ali Pasha was never betrayed by his Bektashi brothers and sisters but died as a hero
I am of the bektashi faith .As a kid remembered when my grandparents used to take to the holy places but never been very religious. I have close relatives that converted to islam and that fine with me i respect their decisions. Live in 🇨🇦 now and often people ask me about my religion.Since not a lot of people know about sufism i just tell them i believe in god and i fear only him the rest don't really matter to me.Mostly i believe in strong family principles in life and thats it
You have to live with a bektashi at least a few months to understand the bektashi faith. Bektashism is a path which could be said is the real faith of Muhamed Musatafa pbuh, Imam Ali pbuh and all ahlul Bayt.
These guys are going against the way of the Messenger of Allah and his companions. The Messenger of Allah and his companions didn’t prostrate to graves, nor did they dance and sing inside the masjid. They didn’t make Dua to the dead, they didn’t hold Zikr circles nodding their heads back and forth. They did all acts of worship for Allah alone! Follow the Messenger of Allah and his companions!
Why do you call Rum Sultanate as early Ottoman? You could call it early Turkiye. Osmanlı Beyliği were established at Söğüt many years later than the Mongol invasion of Anatolia.
The Turks of Turkey are basically the Greeks of Asia converted to Islam and who adapted to the Turkish language. That is why Greeks and Turks look so similar physically, they have the same roots, like Indians with Pakistanis. Real Turks have slanted eyes and Asian features and live in countries like Turkmenistan or Kazakhstan. They are something like Muslim Mongols.
I'm an English Catholic and I look forward to the creation of a new "Bektashi Vatican" as it's being called by some. Bektashi are an important ally against the more radical elements of Islam.
Bektashis are a Shia sub-sect that are considered deviant in Islam. They initially started out as a Twelver Shia Sufi Order but deviated and became their own sect. May Allah guide them back to the Quran and Sunnah and keep us away from false sects. Ameen.
Is that all you care about? There should be space and room for different forms of Islam. Christians had similar concerns in the 16th & 17th centuries and they killed each other for at least 150 years. Is that what you're advocating? Mass slaughter is not the solution, unless you're a Salafist or a religious fascist.
It would be really wonderful if Albania could get its economics in order. All these Albanian men fleeing their country for the UK and other parts of Western Europe is a desperate look.
The Albanians territories are divided by the "Treaty Peace of London" in 1913. Kosovo, West of N.Macedonia, Chameria, Presheva, Sanxhaku, Malesia are some Albanians territories outside todays Albania. 1878 unity of Albanians PRIZREN LEAGUE after Nish occupation by occupators.
Indeed, if he's a straight up Albanian from Albania & not an Arab of Albanian descent from, say, Lebanon or Syria or Egypt, then why the Arabic voice-over? We neither saw nor heard him speak once throughout the whole presentation. What purpose does that serve?
Religions were political parties of the past. Their goal was to rule the world, to expand their territories and influence. When people abandoned religion to mix with political objectives of the state the humanity progressed beyond any limit.
Political ideologies are religions of the present. When people abandon religion you get capitalism, communism and fascism. You get genocide, war and destruction of the earth.

I respect bektashism, i even believed i might be of bektashi origin but i am not. Maybe it is time that foreign scholars actually study more about albanians before they jump to conclusions about jannisaries, myths, etc. The thing is that religion in Albania was not institutionalized until the start of 20th century. Some facts in the video are right, some are not. Therefore, i believe the confusion about different relgions present in Albania is due to lack of proper institutions.

My heart goes out to that Arabic/Albanian brother as he ponders his origins, not being cocksure of who or what he is, but rather taking many things into consideration - historical realities that very possibly might address those nagging questions that those of us who come from this part of the world have ( as well as the intelligence to brood on all of this ) : "Who ( or 'what' ) am I?" 600 years of Ottoman rule - that's a long time; & with all the wars & various armies criss-crossing the Eastern Mediterranean, as well as certain policies enacted by Turkish sultans & other rulers, variously coming & going, who really knows their origins? Reducing that question to common denominators such as native soil, mother tongue, & 'the faith of one's fathers' doesn't always tell the whole story. To this brother, I say 'selamünaleyküm' & 'Hü, dost!'
Well as long as they are not very conservative like iran does, then I'm fine befriending them. I only likes modern and moderate Muslim friends who also likes Mcdonalds
Do not know about the Bektashis, but as far as I knao as an ethnic Albanian (with roots both with Albanian and other Albanian inhabited lands in the Balkans - Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro), mos Albanians have traditionally primarily satisfied their needs to belong and have an identity NOT by leaning on Abrhamic religions (like south slavs) but rather on their own cuulture, Albanian.
I can not call these mystic practices an islamic, it has some islamic elements in it but it is more or less it is own faith. He goes inside a well decorated rom to look around in silence and then kisses everywhere before he leaves for good 😂😂 May allah guide us in to the sunnah of the prophet peace be upon him amin.
Islam has a rich history of different sects, beliefs & Ijtihad , Bektashis led the armies of the Islamic caliphate , without them we all would have been conquered by Europeans & forced to convert to Christianity like the natives of the Americas & Norway .
imam Ali (The friend of Prophet Mohammad(PBUH)) was given task to level the raised graves if any. So making graves big & then worshiping them is false as per islam.
It may sound strange to some, but ethnic Albanian identity is primarily Albanian (albanian language' albanian traditional cpstume customs and traditions) and not religion....Ironically' they are among the religiously most tolerant people on earth....there.has never been any conflicts between Catholic, Muslim' East Orthodox or Agnostic/Atheist ethnic Albanians (ethnic Albanians means all Albanians, including the ethnkc Albanians of Kosovo, Macedonia, Monenegro, not just Albanians from the country of Albania)...on the contrary they all consider.themselves one single people (ethnicity) with several religions, which they are.

Most janissaries were albanians, that's why bektashism stick in albania. Also the king founder of Egypt was albanian, that's why he welcomed them in 1826. It is in the nature of Turks to try hiding these things, as they generally do with truth.

I never been in a mosque . I finished studies for history and I now very well how the Muslim religion was forced to Albanians. This doesn’t mean that I have anything against to anyone that is a believer. Freedom is the most important thing in the life.
Christianity was forced as well 😊

Some facts in the video are right, some are not. Therefore, i believe the confusion about different relgions present in Albania is due to lack of proper institutions.
The fact that he is tracing the roots of Bektashism to the 13th century and a founder (I had not heard about), it goes to show you that it is not from the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad SAWS, and therefor not much to do with Islam.

As long as you dont become alcoolic, its fine to have a glass of wine or a beer. Of course, its not healthy to become a frequent drinker.

He's Albanian, not Arabic. That's an Arabic voiceover.
