    Did you have trouble seperating the motor and trans?? Im pulling mine and the motor and trans are literally stuck to each other

    • @Stan1le
      @Stan1le  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No that was pretty simple. Just gotta make sure you have all the bolts on the bell housing because there are a few that are hard to reach

    • @Stan1le
      @Stan1le  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      But I did have to take the trans mount off and slide the trans back a little

    • @Stan1le
      @Stan1le  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      taking the manifolds off made them easy to take off. But they need to come completely out to help get the engine out.

      Nope! Keep the trans in the car the whole time. Just undid the trans mount and supported it with a jack

    How’d you get the oil pan to clear the cradle? I’ve dropped my cradle about an inch and it still won’t clear

    • @Stan1le
      @Stan1le  ปีที่แล้ว

      Moved the trans back and rocked the hell out of the engine until it fell into place. I never dropped the cradle but I wouldn’t recommend my method. My oil pan wasn’t happy.

    Nice did you take transmission lines off and harness ect… and how far did you have to push it back to clear engine

    • @Stan1le
      @Stan1le  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The harness yes, the transmission stayed in the car and moved back maybe 6-8in. Just removed the trans mount and drive shaft; everything else stayed in place. Wasn’t the easiest thing in the world though.

    • @Stan1le

      I took it off with the motor still in the car. Putting the trans in gear to hold the motor in place. But if the motor is out there are tools to hold the flywheel amzn.to/3D5r2js I have this one

    • @Stan1le
      @Stan1le  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      How would my skills lack when it is built for boost? How does having an engine built to be reliable at higher power goals indicate my skills are lacking? Must have missed the point where I mentioned my supercharger I have; sitting feet away from the car.

      @@Stan1le My comment is about your lack of video ability/rambling. I did go back to watch several of your vids, but nothing was said about what the power ratings of either motor were. (neither are stock ??) A built LS1 series.....but nothing about expected HP etc. People like details when its easy to offer them. I can see you're a motor head, but you tend to ramble about things, then not say all that much. Even if you were to high speed thru the removal, but then go back to normal for a minute....the speed things back up it would give the appearance of being right there working beside you. Viewers care about the "why" sometimes, your leaving all that out. I know your intelligent, but your not coming across that way in your vids.

    • @Stan1le
      @Stan1le  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Vader4tw I get what you're saying but whether I give it in the video or not people will still ask the same question in the comments if they are looking for a particular answer. I don't make my videos for “guides” or for a blueprint for people to build theirs off of. I typically do unorthodox builds, to show people different options for what is possible, and to document my journey. As well as filming on my own, I don't like stopping my progress to change a camera angle. Just rather catch everyone back up when I am done. This build is a journey and I have given the “why” to every bit of what I am doing. People just don’t like to do their own research and want everything at once, that’s not now I operate. I do the research and study many different build before hand.

    • @Stan1le
      @Stan1le  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Guess you were just expecting some different content. Because the only part that had significant dialogue was also the key step to removing the engine this way. I myself was looking for a video that explained what I explained. Now someone can use what I learned to do better then me. That's the point of the video…

      @@Stan1le it's all good man, I'm truly not hating at all and if it seemed like it I apologize brother. No disrespect intended, but I am ready to see the progress. I'm making my own strides with my 2011 Turbo Silverado so... About to learn how to tune and all that. A guy in Ohio is going to help me and guide me so I don't make any mistakes, but he is going to tell me what to do and I'm going to do the leg work. Kinda nervous to tell you the truth. Lol.
