Wow, you have no idea how long I've been trying to organize my studies in only one place!! This is so amazing. Thank you very, very much! Love from Brazil :)
Did some of these after I saw your organisation/ binder system for the IB I saw these in the big binder and I fell in love, soo glad you did a video about because the ones I did where not the best, thank you!!!💗
After a lot of videos on how to use Google sheet for revision finally found the one that i was searching for.... U made it crisp, precise n straight to the point.. Thank you 😊
This is SO helpful! I will definitely incorporate this into my own exam revision scheduling! This is such a good idea and it definitely makes me want to make a video like this!
Thank you so much. My study times are almost always useless coz I don't even know where I stopped or what to do next😭. Thank yooooouuu ALICIA. Imma subscribe now it's my 1st time.
lmao I was sitting here so excited to try this out but then I remembered I'm from humanities and social sciences and that there is no way of knowing for sure whether our 20 page-long weekly essays are "right" or "wrong". We're assessed on our reasoning, analysis and critical thinking. Any advice on how to adapt this study method to humanities and social sciences?
I’m history, so it might not exactly translate, but I would say put the key facts/concepts to revise into the spreadsheet first to make sure that everything you need to base you reasoning off of (?) has been revised. Then I would just say go off feedback as to how good your reasoning/analysis is for each topic/subject to say what’s marked green or yellow. You could leave little notes as to how to/areas to improve on your yellow boxes!
omg your study language is like mine, i love trackers but always get lost with what to put in them, thank you so much for this! ❤️ also, strayan represent yessss!
I'm starting uni in October for sociology and literature and all I've been doing is watching study videos to prepare myself on how to study and organize haha😂
The key to success in college is being organized and reading ahead when it comes to the course curriculum. I found some of the tips posted by facebook.com/RGguide quite useful
just finished my first year of IB and definitely going to use this thank you :)) since you did IB biology, do you think it would be useful if i did active recall questions on notion? and how can i efficiently use my summer before my second year of IB starts? would greatly appreciate any tips from anyone!
I have a few questions, when do I ‘start’ this timetable? Or just study everyday for every subjects a little bit a day and when I get closer to the exam period I study for longer period of time. x
Not sure if you've already gotten an answer or anything but I would start it as soon as you start learning and add to it with every lesson or new piece of info
Hi alicia i have been trying to learn more about space repetition and active recall recently. When do you usually work on one page summaries? Do you do it week before an exam or after a lecture finishes? Thank you so much for all the helpful videos!!
th-cam.com/users/aliabdaal is amazing to learn everything you need to know about spaced repetition and active recall. Check him out if you haven't already.
I don't know why this was recommended to me. I graduated 7 years ago. Ps: they lied when they said time heals wounds, cus I still have nightmares about the tok essay and ee.
I love your technique but i was wondering... how many weeks before your final exam you recommend me to start studying and doing your technique? Thank you
Do you have a template for the activity recalled question and answer on notions? I will real like one. Thank you for the this useful tips. I need a new way to review my notes since mostly of my class are psychology.
Notion is great for active recall, but I think you will benefit more from Ankii - a digital flashcard system that is free on PC, which is bascially made for active recall as it asks you the questions you're not confident with. Read more about it bc it is amazing!!! I've been able to retain more info through asking questions
is there a reason you prefer using notion over maybe anki for active recall (not sure if you've tried it). I've been using anki but idk if I should give notion a try
This was really useful. I am going to try this for this coming school year since online classes are a bit of a challenge for me
It's like the retrospective revision technique by Ali abdaal.
Beginners version
that's exactly how I use both this video and Ali's video
Wow, you have no idea how long I've been trying to organize my studies in only one place!! This is so amazing. Thank you very, very much! Love from Brazil :)
