This was the most helpful note taking video that I’ve ever found! Thanks so much. Sometimes I waste so much time because I can’t figure out how I’m going to organize my notes and what type of header to use for topics and sub topics, etc. so this saved me a lot of time
The best youtube channel for notes and stuff I have ever subscribed to....First I thought that Studytee is the no.1 notes related youtube channel but now....study collab:alicia IS THE BEST!!!!!❤❤❤❤
Loved the video! Straight to the point! For me, I mainly follow the bullet-point system of note taking, since it's easier for me to understand what i'm researching about and also... Aesthetics ahahahah!
Thank you thank you thank you thank you!!!!! I started watching you a few days ago and really really REALLY needed this!!!! I honestly couldn’t thank you enough 💕💕💕💕
What is the difference between notes you take on your iPad vs the one you write on physical piece of paper? If the physical paper version just a condensed/short version of your lecture contents? I have seen many study channels do this but I never ask about the difference, so I am just curious ☺️☺️ I annotate notes and add anything extra that are important on the lecture slides on the iPad then I would use scrap paper to do active recall, practice answering learning objectives.
I'm really fking jealous of you for getting the pdf beforehand. In my university you are lucky if you get the slides at all. Most of the time you don't ☹
Hey Alicia, when you write notes with the muji binder do you find it easier taking the page out to write it or going across the binding to write in the left page?
Would you recommend getting the Tombow Dual Brush Pens or the Zebra Mildliners? Also, do you complete textbook questions and exercises on loose leaf paper, or do you do them in a separate notebook that's not in your notes?
There are Zebra mildliner brush pens now too and when I was first starting out with brush lettering I found them a lot easier to use because they're bouncier than the tombows. And with those brush pen versions the other side has an extra fine tip instead of the regular fine tip on the normal mildliners, so you can write about as thin as a 0.7mm pen
Is the graph paper in your Muji notebook from Muji in A4 size from 5:35? If so, where did you get them?? *btw I subscribed to you and I LOVE your videos, they're very motivational! :D
I will study IB in coming Sep. Use paper notes or use iPad to take a notes? Which you recommend? What I have to prepare? You laptop is Mac book air or Mac book pro ? Which one you recommend to buy ? How many storage? 256g or 512g or 1TB?
im in IB and im finding it really tough to find time to take completely handwritten notes. sometimes just jotting down main points from the textbook into a doc is the only thing i have time for. one of my teachers make us print her own notes out though so those ones are easy to just annotate when shes explaining and there isnt really much need for rewriting new notes
studycollab: alicia Thanks for your reply. Are you still using Mac Book Air 256g? Is it enough to use when studying university? I want to buy one can also be enough to use when studying university.
please anybody know about a good note taking app on the ipad that do this thing , i need to add pop up sticky note to highlight word in a text , when i click on this highlight word it will popup sticky note
I usually just ignore the teacher and do work from another subject. If he sets homework I just do it while he is talking. My teachers all send the presentations to us anyway so there is no need to listen to them for 3 hours.
SSDD
S- Syllabus point
S- Subheadings
D- Definition (acts as a little introduction)
D- Dot points or diagrams

Can you please do a video on you using your dual brushes because I have the same brushes but I have a hard time using them
Such a helpful video! Thank you so much for sharing :)
What should I do if there is no detailed syllabus so i don’t really know what’s required ?
I would say just stick to what the lecturer focuses their attention on the most!
Maybe look on ratemyprofessor to see if anything said on there about the professor will help
Hi love your videosss!! Binging them in quarantine. Where did you get the brown tabs for in your folder ;)
muji :)
studycollab: alicia Thank you so much!!!!
Hey Alicia, when you write notes with the muji binder do you find it easier taking the page out to write it or going across the binding to write in the left page?
I usually just take it out cause the rings in the middle can be hard to write over!
"essketit" XD
also these are amazing tips! thank you so much!
Would you recommend getting the Tombow Dual Brush Pens or the Zebra Mildliners? Also, do you complete textbook questions and exercises on loose leaf paper, or do you do them in a separate notebook that's not in your notes?
I prefer tombow as there are more colours and you can also brush letter with it so 2 in 1 use!
@@studycollab Thanks so much! Oh yeah that's true, I'm pretty new to brush lettering so I'm going to keep practising and hopefully buy a pack! 😊

I will study IB in coming Sep. Use paper notes or use iPad to take a notes? Which you recommend?
What I have to prepare?
You laptop is Mac book air or Mac book pro ? Which one you recommend to buy ? How many storage? 256g or 512g or 1TB?
I used regular paper notes during school and it worked well for me! I had the MacBook Air 256gb during high school.
im in IB and im finding it really tough to find time to take completely handwritten notes. sometimes just jotting down main points from the textbook into a doc is the only thing i have time for. one of my teachers make us print her own notes out though so those ones are easy to just annotate when shes explaining and there isnt really much need for rewriting new notes

At uni all lecturers I have use powerpoints but if not then i would follow the syllabus points and use the textbook as a guide!
