hs / ms = high speed and mid speed can bus network. my adapter has those switches with it you can access other modules apart from pcm, like body control, abs etc
I don’t know what all you’ve figured out so far but to my knowledge the message about HS and MS Can is the reason you can’t edit things you need an OBD2 that has a physical switch that has CAN
I have Lite also and it's "VERY" basic .. Wish it didn't cost so much (I kind of feel ripped off).. I use Torque Pro for most of my monitoring (I like its layout better) .. ForScan for the computer is the way to go if you need/want to change anything on your rig (2013 Ford Flex and a 2005 Ford Crown Vic LX in my case).
I have not used Forscan APP since this video. I should check it out again maybe it does a lot more now. I found the software on a laptop was better and did so much more. I'm not even sure that is free anymore.
Is this the free version? Will it disable the factory Eqyalizer settings on the base stereo? Will it work with the cheaper blue ELM 327 bluetooth readers?
No and It took me my 3rd purchase buying the more expensive OBDLink MX+ adapter (upwards of $80) to have a fast reliable link to easily read all HS and MS CAN's seemlessly. The two cheaper versions I tried before hand and shipped back for refund (a $20 and $35 toggle switch versions) both either would freeze up, glitch out or not read all the modules without hickups. Also higher latency having cheaper hardware.. Then all you need at that point is to download the free windows version onto a laptop or put forscan lite on your phone (I think $5). I've been using both my laptop and phone versions of the software for almost a year now. There a pretty steap learning curve to using all the diagnosis features in either but its well worth the time and money in my opinion, if you have problems you rather not pay a dealer to diagnose.
@@Meekerextreme OK, thanks for your help 👍😉 You have already try to remap key on a écu without any key programmed? I need a solution to create 2 keys for an old eecV ecu, my Ford dealer can't do this with Ford vcm2, and it's difficult to find and vcm1 in my country.
You should be able to turn on the subwoofer option as I saw that in there. I'm not sure what the hyperblinking is (is that the rear one flashing three or so times)?

I use Carista app on my phone, it reads codes and resets everything. Even though I paid for 'Forscan lite' I don't use it...LOL

I would say NO, unless the app really evolved since I did this video.

Not the settings I wanted. I would check Carista it's a free app and it has reset many vehicle sI have tried it on.
Like trying to turn the backlighting ( Puddle lights,shifter,door & stering wheel light) on.....

Since this video I have never used FORScan Lite again, I use Carista which is FREE and it resets codes.
Where did you plug it in?
Into the OBDII port which is lower left of the steering wheel

Sorry I didn't realize the video, you will need Forscan to turn the subwoofer on this is a basic diagnostic tool (Forscan Lite).
