Thanks for the video! Majorly struggled with my drivers side footwell light because the plastic clip wouldn’t press in but I persevered and managed to get it out after 1.5 hours 😮💨😮💨👍
Got mine from Autoled UK, some started flickering, specially the vanity mirror ones. My car turned into an epileptic's worst nightmare haha. I will give a try on this ones.
Great video, managed to install mine yesterday in no time. Did have a faulty bulb from this company, but sent an email and they’re sending a replacement straight away. Couldn’t ask for better communication or service 👍🏻
Huge thumbs up on this 1. I was struggling to access the driver side footwell light. You made it very clear to understand and do with this video. Many thanks.
nice one . it was one of the first things i did when i got the car back in 2016. I recently installed footwell lighting led because my car didn't have that
@@AlexTheGrumpyOne Yes . so.far the most challenging was retrofitting R facelift bumper without swithcing the rear bootlid and lights . I couldn t find any used rear gate or lights from facelift.
@@AlexTheGrumpyOne I have been looking for rear tailgate and lights for over a year . I haven t find. Hi alex i wish i watched this befor ei tried iv some how blown my bulbs up and cant get the lights to turn on again is there anychance you have a location for the fuse that powers the lights ?
Hey Alex, did they change the plastic cover for the interior top lights in the facelift? Mine will not come off - it all seems to be connected as one piece 🤷♂️🤷♂️
I found out in my VW Scirocco 2011 that the both reading lights size are 38mm, rather than 36 mm. Or this will also fit with 36 mm with little squeezed?
All of my lights work except my glovebox and footwell lights, I have checked all the fuses I have and none of them are blown, do you have any idea why just them are not working?
Hi there. 2 things to try first. Can you check your dash setting to see if they are on and then if it doesn't work disconnect the battery for 5 min and check if they work.
Hey Alex! Again great video man! question do you know if I can replace the bumper indicator section, removing the fog light assembly and fitting a face lift section or do i need to change the entire bumper as my colour car is impossible to find a matching face lift bumper :/
Managed to change all of them except the glove box. Tried prying it with a screwdriver and it just felt like it was going to break if I put much pressure on it so I bottled it and left it as is 😅😅
@@AlexTheGrumpyOne thanks for your video, it definitely helped with the drivers side footwell light and also how to get the rear light out. I just wish there was an easier way to do the glove box without feeling like I’m going to break it 😂😩
@@AlexTheGrumpyOne yer not looking to take the whole thing apart , I’ll give it another go with the screwdriver method tomorrow like in your video and if it doesn’t work I’ll just leave it. It’s only the glove box light at the end of the day , not the end of the world if it can’t be changed
All of my interior lights aren't working. Everything on the outside does work, but none of the lights on the inside. The rest of the car is fine though. Do you know what could be the problem. Already checked the fuse box. Nothings wrong with that. Also the red light on the interior light does work. So i have no idea where to start looking
@@AlexTheGrumpyOne Everything in the car works, except all of my interior lights (2 lights in the back in think, 2 above your head, 1 driversside feet and 1 passengerside feet) Also to note is that the little red light in the interior light above your head does work. So its getting some current atleast.

Well done. Yeah some of them can be a bit of a pain 😀

The ones in my link are error free
