The Baxbys “Junebug” at Mercury Lounge on 1st September 2024

Track 4 of 11. The Baxbys were my #1 live band of 2023. Great songs, great performance and a ton of exuberant energy. They formed in January 2021 in western Massachusetts. I first went to see them at the diminutive Berlin Under “A” and then saw them in 2023 upstairs at the Bowery Electric Map Room. Since then they have graduated to Bowery Electric in February 2024 opening for World Atlas, then they headlined another gig at Bowery Electric in July, playing to an excited crowd of 60+ fans. Now they headlining at Mercury Lounge, and good vibes all around.
