    Nice Video, I understand the bag works really well for you, but I have a couple of comments that the viewers might find useful if they look into their bag for themselves.
    Firstly though, How did you remove the straps from the PD sling? I have one also, that I'd like to remove the straps from, from time to time to use it like packing cube!
    While I agree with all of your comments, I have a PD everyday backpack, and have Some extra comments some people who watch this might find useful for those on the fence for one of these bags.
    The 2 major design flaw I see for all of this range of PD bags though are:
    * The side panels have storage, but I can't imagine putting anything hard in them (at least on the sides I store my camera/lenses on, because they could damage them, as there is very little padding on the inside, I use these for lens clothes and other soft things only, and
    * secondly, the 'stuff' pocket space is taken up by anything you fill in the top part of the bag, making it basically useless, it's also not protected from anything inside the back, and as a result, i've destroyed a pair of sunglasses that were bent up from something I had stuffed in the top section. Even without that potential, I think it's a useless tiny pocket that only has any use when the top section is essentially empty. Last problem for is the zip for the stuff pocket/laptop back section ALWAYS gets caught on the rounded corners.
    Some smaller annoyances are:
    They didn't put any special provisions to mount their capture clip on the bag WTF - so it's really hard to install it, and it squishes a lot of the padding where it rests on upper chest/shoulder - so that sucks for anyone who wants to use it and because they made the straps thicker (great) it's just super hard to install.
    I wish PD would hire me as a consultant to fix their backs for a V3 version haha, because I think they're SO close to the perfect bag.

      The strap on the 3L sling can be tucked away, which is what I did. The points you raised are important to consider. Thank you for sharing your experience. let's hope Peak Design will do a better job with the V3 bags haha

    Great review! I have the 15L and absolutely love it, and between it and my Wandrd Prvke 21L I find that for everyday use I'm grabbing the Everyday Zip more and more often.

    • @rewdotkim
      @rewdotkim ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@professionalpotato4764 ultimately, the Wandrd Prvke 21L has slightly more robust straps. Additionally, there are loops on the strap to clip things to them, and, ironically, it's more accommodating to the Peak Design Capture Clip.

    I just bought the 20L and it's more than large enough to accommodate two bodies and six lenses (covering 12-800mm EFL) and accessories, which is a lot of gear! Now, those are Lumix G9s (I and II) and of course MFT lenses are much smaller than "FF" ones (but every bit as good, and in fact better in many ways, but that's another conversation). I do prefer a sling, as side access is essential (my Lowepro ProTactic 450 has multiple access points, but must be removed to easily change lenses, etc.), but the Zip is a reasonable compromise (as no slings exist with this much capacity). It's also very comfortable (although it could use more ventilation), especially with the hip belt (on which you can mount a Capture, with or without Pro Pad). As you say, there's no such thing as a perfect pack, but this is one comes closest for me at the moment. It's also well-built, has clever design features, and it's great looking (but doesn't look like a camera bag--a huge plus).

    It was a good and informative video. I have a query, I need to carry a Nikon 200-500 along with Z9 attached with a 14-24 S lens. Is it possible to fit the 200-500 on one side vertically and the z9 attached with 14-24 from top opening.

    Приветствую! Спасибо за обзор изделия.
    Продукция данной компании заслуживает внимания.
    На мой взгляд перегородки, с обустройством объёма и организации хранения уникальны. Но есть одно но! - края не выдерживают физического контакта. Без строчек и усилении в данных местах приходится обращаться за покупкой новых))))
    В целом всё норм, хоть и на английском!)
    С меня подписка и лайк 😉

    Спасибо за обзор! Подыскиваю небольшой фоторюкзак для 2-х камер Alpha с 5 GM объективами. Все это прекрасно помещается в Tenba 13 BYOB DSLR с батарейками, флешками и грушей, но попытка найти хотя бы близке по эффективности использования пространства ни к чему не привела. Буду смотреть Zip т.к. Travel Backpack 45 мне очень зашел!

      В общем привезли, посмотрел, примерял свою технику и сдал обратно. Если таскать разный объемный стафф рюкзак хорош, но как фото он ужасен более чем полностью. У меня беззеркальная камера Sony и 5 GM объективов. Камера никак не фиксируется, внешняя стенка рюкзака слишком далеко а при попытке открыть навесу сбоку - камера проваливается т.к. чудо-перегородки отгибаются. Вертикальная установка не спасает - рюкзак большеват. После уже обратил внимание на PGYTECH OneGo 18L. С точки зрения удобства для фотографа должен быть получше т.к. и размер и молнии есть, которых нет в PeakDesign

    if i only use it for clothes and things for traveling (no cameras) Do you think there is enough space for carry 7 days of clothes? I love this because can work for travelling and every day rather than the travelling that looks bigger for everyday pack.

    • @Romafedorov
      @Romafedorov  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It depends if you’re wearing clothes for warm or cold weather. For warm weather it might work, but for cold weather, you might need something bigger..

    On a serious note - I'm just curious why you didn't go for an Everyday backpack(20L) or Travel backpack(30L) with a camera cube? They are fairly similar in size. What was your thought process when you chose Everyday zip?
    I first bought an everyday backpack (30l) and then a travel backpack (45l) and still have doubts if I should have bought an everyday zip 20l instead of the everyday backpack…

    • @Romafedorov
      @Romafedorov  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cheers!
      The Everyday backpack is more expensive, heavier (500g), and I dislike the magnetic latch. For me, zippers are much easier to use. The travel backpack is far too large for what I require and is also significantly heavier when empty.I don't carry much gear, so the backpack zip works perfectly for me. Hope this helps!

    Had two quick question for you about gopro settings. Are you editing in a 24p timeline in FCP? Also, I have gone thru my gopro 11 and can't see how you're accessing 25 and 50 fps. I also don't have the option for 8:7. I seem to be on the latest firmware update.

    • @Romafedorov
      @Romafedorov  ปีที่แล้ว

      I edit in a 25p timeline. Enter one of the GoPro filming presets to change resolution and frame rate, same goes for 8:7 aspect ratio.
