THIS blanket is beautiful I making it now but your math is just a little bit off 12×7 = 84 and then the two on the ends would bring it to 86 and then you need one extra one when you start your row because you start the second chain from the hook so you actually need 87 to start not 83. I had to find this out the hard way LOL

It was starting driving me nuts ...and then I saw your comment : everything was clear thankfull to you . YOU NEED A MULTIPLE OF 12+3 that's all ( not multiple of 20+2, not a multiple of 12+2 .....)
Am making this blanket in hook size 6.5mm but I think i will use the hook size 6mm for the border so it’s nice and tight and tidy thank you Anno Crochet Designs for this fabulous pattern xxx

Love this blanket and after making your mosaic pillow, I made a matching lapgan because the yarns you recommended were so beautiful. I then started watching Tinna's channel and fell further in love with mosaic and the double border. Started knitting and mosaic crochet. Thanks so much. Edit- finally got to the bloopers. Yes, please make a garment with mosaic crochet. For dry, sensitive skin, I use GlaxalBase moisturizing cream. It is hypoallergenic, perfume free, lanolin free and non-greasy. Our city is often a testing area for dry skin products in the winter and this stuff is great. For dry hands, I use Body Shop hemp hand protector, especially at night. It has a slight fragrance and it may sting a bit if you have a cut but it also works. Enjoy.

Does this mean the pattern is multiples of 12 plus 3? I got 15 rows in before I realized my numbers were off lol

the written instructions say 12+2....which is the right one?
