Mine just has a pilot bolt that attaches the hub to the transmission. Disconnect the driveshaft from the drum , remove the bolt and the brake drum slides off
glad you posted new video Wayne your the man to see you help so many people some times it dose not work out ( people out their let people know about this job and how much it cost to fix and may be they will stop putting them on.). Wayne this job was two thumbs up happy 4th if a service place did this job it would be more than $1000.00 to do..
Wayne, you're an HONEST man! No reason to feel defeated! The owner should be glad that he asked you to do the repairs instead of some repair shop with a big over-head that would have charged him a small fortune! Your honesty will always pay off in the end! PEACE!

Wayne, I know this video is pretty old but I've got a question. I have a Workhorse P32 Chassis with a J72 autopark brake. My motorhome won't hold, we know the pump and ecm and all that electrical stuff is working properly but it just rolls! I can't use my levelers without the park brake applied. Do you know what has to be done to repair this? I'm told the drum is the bad part
As clean as the underside of that motorhome looked, that would seem to be a fairly new unit. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if somebody had driven it for hundreds of miles with the parking partially or even completely engaged, which wore out the brake surfaces inside.
Auto tech here, this is my first time dealing with one of these, nasty vibration on an e450, removed rear shaft and find the drum very loose, pretty sure that is not normal, agree?

More than likely that is what happend. The recently bought the coach ( I was at the dealer when they picked it up and they saw me and knew who I was)
