Thank you. this is closest i have gotten to restaurant recipe! To all those more hung up on kannada vs. english - get a life. this is not one of those situations that demand it. I appreciate the sincere effort deccan herald and you are making to document some good honest karnataka recipes. There are plenty of ones out there; but the production quality on this is good, and recipe sounds tested - i can tell you that i followed instructions verbatim (as close as possible), and the results are spot on.

Hi! sir! I appreciate your passion for our local food, I would suggest making a small correction - instead of "Dosa" please make "Dose" -> "Dosa" is a Tamil or Telugu slang. Even many Hotels in Karnataka, misspell "Dosa"(Tamil/Telugu) for "Dose" , "Pakora"(Hindi) for "Pakoda", "Masala"(Tamil/Telugu) for "Masale".......

Love for mother tongue is ok. But surprised to see the aversions to other languages
