D&S IQ 2.0 Soft Touch Car Wash - Speedy B's, Holts Summit MO (2024 Revisit)

While in town this winter, Jason and I swung by one of the cooler car washes I've found in my many years of doing videos. It's extremely unique to have 4 automatic bays side by side (most places doing this sort of volume would just build a tunnel). Since my last visit, the owners have fully renovated the building housing the automatic bays and replaced 2 of them with D&S IQ systems. The IQ is one of my favorite soft touch models, so I took the opportunity to get an outside video of one. The place still seems beautifully maintained and the prices are quite reasonable.

Were you able to check up on that other one across the street that had the propped over Bay Door? Someone said it has an Ultra Rare Raco system and might still be running despite the awful looking bay.

I like how these systems go “beep please drive forward. Beep please drive forward” then “Place car in park. Place car in park.” Or if you’ve driven in too far “Please back up”. No wonder it’s called the D&S IQ.

Read the title and description again. This is a 'soft touch' wash with brushes. Soft touch is not the same as 'touchless' which means no brushes.
