We have a new car wash with two D&S IQ touch free machines here in Moline, IL. They also have two soft touch IQ machines. D&S IQ machines are not that hard to find in my area as there are at least three different car washes that I know that have them!
MusicMaker97 i live north of the QC i know the exact washes your talkin about, how do those new IQ machines do compared to the older i5000 systems that were originally in the power wash car wash? Just askin because i have a wash and looking at both systems for mine !

Car Wash: PLACE CAR IN PARK. Me: do you know who is in the bay? As far as I know, he ALWAYS puts his car in park! In bays, at least. In tunnels, he puts his car in neutral. lol
If it works the way I think it does, than I've seen one of those in action. The one I've seen works like a self-service bay, except for your dog or whatever instead of your car. You would pay, then choose something like soap or whatever, get soap on the pet, rinse, dry, other things like that. It was interesting to say the least.
They have 2 of these along with a soft touch. They are in Carson City Nevada. They are cool systems, and I am a little confused as to why the Touchless IQ is rare, I guess it is because it uses a bit too much water which ups the pricing for it. :(
Is the touch free carwash actualy beter then the touch carwash? Alright it doesn't scratch the car but how clean is your car after a touch free carwash? Anyway like the channel. Greetings from Holland
playerskilz It depends on the System. Newer touch free systems do great jobs but older don't. If your car is really dirty then you need soft touch but if it not that dirty then you can get away with touch free.

I would personally like to see more substantial brush drives on the friction machines.

Looking at the indicator signs in the bay, these probably used to be D&S 5000’s. Just down my street we got our 5000’s replaced with IQ.
